TVSN and Expo are run by the same company - this will be a decision they’ve made rather than one that Foxtel has.

I reckon we are seeing extra extra +2 channels because Optus have Foxtel locked in with a set amount of bandwidth on the satellite.
If you were Foxtel and you were paying Optus even if you didn’t use it, wouldn’t you put something on it? And potentially charge advertisers minuscule increases in ad prices to boot to cover the extra time the ads ran…
If that were the case, they could instead make certain non-HD channels HD.

Totally, but I suspect adding a time shifted channel is not only cheaper but easier.

These home shopping channels aren’t doing that well in the US right now.
QVC operates QVC and HSN, both of which are home shopping channels.
6.6b in debt is just nuts.

Went on beIN Connect and the schedule looks as typical as any other week. No AFC matches.
I meant BeIn might be using Foxtel’s satellite for AFC if they’re broadcasting from here during it.
I dont think so - they appear to be linear services looking at the EPG

If this is a harbinger of the return to Foxtel as a linear service then I’m stoked!
- The BeIN Sports Connect app is a cumbersome experience.
- As a Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) fan, easier access to their matches once they’re relegated at the end of the season will be very pleasing.

I have beIN Connect conncted to Apple TV. So Foxtel bringing back beIN after 3 years is unusual

Yeah, if this is just the three channels then its really just a big downgrade. I’ve got it via prime and its so much better than just the three channels that Foxtel had.
