It depends on the package. For platinum the increase is $10.
Watched the NFL today on 7 via antenna and on Foxtel (ESPN) via the Foxtel set top box using the internet.
The NFL via Foxtel was only 5 seconds behind channel 7.
Furthermore, watching the NFL on the internet (i.e. 7Plus, Foxtel Go or Disney Plus) were only 9-10 seconds behind channel 7 via FTA.

On 10 March 2026, the EXPO Channel (Ch.177) will close. From this date, TVSN will include a +2 channel (available on Ch.177).

I’m sure viewers wouldn’t be mistaken if they are aware they are tuning into a timeshifted feed or it has an “Encore” tag below the TVSN logo.

These time shifted channels seem to be big in the UK and NZ. Personally, it’s a waste of spectrum, as you can just record and watch on demand.

At least they aren’t from the home shopping category.
TVSN already has a catchup service online so you could timeshift to whenever. But here we are, in an attempt to keep the number warm more than anything.

It’ll be helpful for the impulse shoppers so they can buy the products and then start the regret and shame processes 2 hours later!
I’m absolutely mortified by the news. I’ve been an avid viewer of Expo since my 20s. The family and I will have to find something else to do on the weekends now.
Seriously though, Expo devolved in recent years into a dumping ground for TVSN encores anyway.

In the UK we used to have QVC+1. Same great bargains, an hour later!
Since everyone is on an iQ now, they should get rid of +2 channels entirely and save money/transponder space.

Exactly. This was their plan so I’m not too sure why there suddenly adding a new 2+ channel. the whole thing makes no sense.
I assume TVSN is paying them for it… or Foxtel gets a % of sales from the channel.
