Yep. HD on IPTV though no HD in name. On Hubbl name has changed to Sky News Weather HD etc so changes are afoot. Diagnostics on Flash have also changed, showing it as 1920x1080p

Did iQ3.5 only use satellite for its channels or was it internet as well?

I think that got rebranded as an iQ4 when they launched 4K on it.

If so, was satellite only (for the channels), got updated to support internet channel streams.

I’m pretty sure the IQ4 was a upgrade. I don’t think the IQ3.5 is 4k compatible. I got the IQ4 when it came out for this reason.

Could only find this on it.

Thankfully Foxtel has knocked the iQ3 into shape over time, and the iQ4 sticks with the same basic design and user interface. The so-called “iQ3.5” boxes which have been shipping to customers this year are actually an iQ4 box just waiting on a free firmware update. If your 3.5 box hasn’t received the upgrade by now you should contact Foxtel.

Just noticed that Sky News UK is now a Sky News UK HD. This is on iQ4 via IP.

Honesty i didnt think the Foxtel Magazine was still around…

Should’ve just scrapped it altogether… especially if it is still $6.

If they are still going to charge $6 for 34 fewer pages, then no one will want it. That way they can axe it with little public backlash.

What backlash would they get now?

Turns out the readership might be decent - Roy Morgan recently reported readership figures of 290,000 (an increase over the last 12 months) in December

Isn’t it a case of everyone who signs up to Foxtel is also signed up to the magazine? You then have to choose to opt out if you don’t want to receive it and pay the extra subscription fee.

No, it’s an extra that you opt into now.

When I signed up (a long time ago now) we got a few months of the magazine free, but I think Foxtel stopped that a while ago

When I first got FOXTEL around 2008, it was included with the Premium subscription I had, but after about a year, it became an extra cost add on.

Wonder what it’s guide part is like vs TV Week’s? Always found the latter’s to be rather elite!
