Foxtel

Interesting that it’s on both MTV and MTV Classic

Music on MTV!!!

Does anyone know what the channel numbers are for the SD channels now? I only noticed the other day for those on HD subscription the SD channels are now basically hidden and can no longer be found unless you know the channel numbers.

Golf TV app added to Foxtel. No press release I could find.

Search for an old channel listing with the HD channels in the 2s. The HD channel from that era is now the SD channel. 277 for Fox 8. I’d post the list but I’m on mobile.

UPDATE 9/11: comparison of Foxtel paying subscriber numbers since December 2018

I noticed a “feature” (read: bug) on the app the other day, that if you used the My Foxtel app to change the channel, let’s just say to Lifestyle HD, it actually takes you to Lifestyle SD on the box, so if you need to find out a channel number specifically, you could use that technique.

Foxtel are currently doing a deal for new and previous customers, $25 a month for the first 3 months. Wasn’t impressed. Basically the same 5 shows on repeat all day on all of the Foxtel owned channels. Had a look at Foxtel Comedy which has absolutely no stand up like it previously had.

How about some channels based on years? Fox60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Could be fun!

with the exception of Full House, all shows on FOX Funny and FOX Comedy are currently airing on free to air channels!

Not even sure of the point of Fox Comedy anymore, realistically Fox Comedy and Funny could be merged in to one, rather than just old sitcoms, surely there’s some standups it could broadcast?

Weirdly they kept the star from the old Comedy channel, and didn’t go with the existing logo of other Fox Comedy channels in other markets.
