NRL Magic Round on 13-15 May (with every game at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane) should mean all 8 NRL games are in 4K? Even though 3 games are shared with Nine.

Last year they only got their 5 games in 4K.

Doubtful. Fox has to take the feed from Nine and Nine has no reason to bother producing a 4K broadcast.

That was my thinking too because FOX has at least 1 game on each day of Magic Round, so the 4K capability would already be in place for the FOX games.

I believe that Fox is the ‘host’ broadcaster for Magic Round (i.e. they provide the cameras and everything for the match, Nine do have their own mixing truck and a few cameras for their non-game coverage though.)

So I just brought a new HDMI splitter and apparently the iQ3 can output in 2160p?
Can’t watch any 4k content though…

Seems pointless in that first cap of having a “native resolution” of 2160p if it can’t output 4K content?

I believe it’s indicating the native resolution of the display but yes the iQ3 does not have any access to 4k content. The two unlisted Fox Sports UHD channels fail to stream.
And it’s only in 24fps too.
