Pretty grim.
Seems that way. Will be a lot more overseas syndication or the like.

Formula 1 superstar Max Verstappen will race as a wildcard for Red Bull in the second round of the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries which will be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS, on Foxtel and Foxtel NOW, this Wednesday night (April 15) from 7.00pm.
And before the racing begins FOX SPORTS (Channel 506) will exclusively broadcast LIVE qualifying for the second round of racing from 6.00pm to Foxtel and Foxtel Now subscribers with three timed qualifying sessions to determine the starting order for races 1, 3 and 4 (race 2 will be reverse grid).
The Dutchman, one of the biggest names in world motorsport, will line up in a Holden Commodore and use #33, with his virtual Supercar sporting a similar livery to his 2020 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1 car.
Verstappen will compete against Supercars’ best on tracks he knows well – Silverstone and Barcelona – famous circuits on the F1 calendar.
In 2016, Max became the youngest ever F1 race winner at the Barcelona circuit, claiming his maiden victory in the Spanish Grand Prix at just 18 years of age.
Verstappen is a regular simracer and has been extremely active in iRacing competitions against professional drivers in the coronavirus-induced stoppage of real-life racing.
Despite Supercars not being one of his go-to iRacing Series, Max says he’s looking forward to taking on the Supercars drivers, including Jamie Whincup, Shane Van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin and Anton De Pasquale, this Wednesday.
“I’m looking forward to the race. It’s going to be a challenge as it’s not a car I’ve driven a lot on the sim, but they are pretty cool to watch in real life. We always race with Supercars in Melbourne so it’s going to be interesting to see how I get on against all the regular drivers.
“I’ve tried the Supercar now a few times on iRacing and it’s a very tricky car to get right. I’m looking forward to racing alongside my mate Shane, or Pastor, as I call him – he’s a top shunter on the sim! (laughs) We race online a lot together so hopefully we can do well for Red Bull and it should be a bit of fun racing against the other V8 drivers as well.”
Red Bull Holden Racing Team ace Shane van Gisbergen regularly races against Verstappen online and says he’s looking forward to going door-to-door with the 22-year old online on Wednesday night.
“It’s awesome that a driver of Max’s calibre will be on the grid to take us on in a Red Bull Supercar,” van Gisbergen said.
“He’s fast and he knows these tracks well, so I expect to see him at the front.
“He’s put in plenty of hours in a Supercar online. Just like he races in an F1, he’s aggressive and won’t back down against anyone, so it will be great to have him on the grid this week.”
Verstappen has experience in a Red Bull Holden. In 2019, seven-time Supercars Champion Jamie Whincup drove him around Albert Park in an exhibition lap at the Australian Grand Prix.
The #33 Red Bull Holden of Verstappen will compete in four races on Wednesday night, two at Silverstone and two at Barcelona.
Another one bites the dust. There’ll be no one left at FSN before long!
Julian previously worked for Nine News Melbourne. He has also been part of ABC Radio’s AFL coverage for the past three years or so. I guess his ABC stint will continue?
That is such a shock
Seems like this dispute is going to end up with lawyers at 20 paces being involved considering:
Sources with detailed knowledge of the broadcast deal suggest Fox Sports withholding the April quarterly payment is a breach of the contract, while FFA must complete the A-League season by July 1 in order to meet its obligations. Failure to do that could provide Fox Sports with the opportunity to walk away from the final three years of the deal.
FOX SPORTS, on Foxtel and Foxtel NOW, will broadcast an innovative and entertaining professional darts event featuring the world’s best players competing against each other LIVE from their own homes.
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Home Tour will be contested daily, for 32 days, commencing Saturday, April 18 from 4.30am AEST on FOX SPORTS 505.
Each day’s play will run for three hours as a stand-alone round-robin group, producing a daily winner and meaning viewers can dip in and dip out and still be able to follow the tournament narrative. FOX SPORTS will also schedule replays of each event.
All 128 PDC Tour Card Holders have been invited to compete (including Aussie Simon Whitlock), subject to being able to set-up a camera in their home and communicate with the host/producer in English.
32 groups of four players will be drawn with each group producing six best of nine leg matches and each player playing the other once including receiving two points for a win.
Players will set up their camera on a full board shot to the left of the board with sufficient lighting to make each segment clearly visible, while a data feed, produced by Sportradar, will provide data for the on-screen score and information graphics.
Tournament Rules
All matches are the best of nine legs.
The player listed on the left of the fixture will throw first in odd-numbered legs.
Two Points awarded for a win.
Should players finish level on Points, the Leg Difference will be used to decide positions. Should Points and Leg Difference be equal between two players, then the winner of the game between the two players will determine who finishes higher. Should Points and Leg Difference be equal between three players, the Overall Average of each player (across the three games on the night) will be used to determine who finishes higher.

MONDAY, MAY 4 TO SUNDAY, MAY 10
FOX SPORTS, on Foxtel and Foxtel NOW, will shine a spotlight on Tiger Woods, arguably the greatest golfer of all time, with a week-long celebration re-living 70 of his victories from Monday, May 4 to Sunday, May 10.
Sponsored by Drummond Golf, Tiger Week will give golf fans the opportunity re-live some of Woods’ greatest moments on the links – from his amateur days, first professional win, the venues he dominated and the dramatic shots and finishes which have always been his trademark.
In October 2019 Tiger won the ZOZO Championship and in doing so equaled the great Sam Snead with 82 PGA Tour wins, while worldwide Tiger has won over 100 tournaments and has amassed prize money of more than $120 million.
Here are some of the highlights that fans can settle in and look forward to:
Monday, May 4
From 7.00pm, we look back at two of the greatest of all time, Tiger and Jack and 1999 where Tiger dominated Jack’s tournament for 3 consecutive years.
Tuesday, May 5
From 1.00pm, whether it was the Open or the Invitational, Tiger certainly took to it when it was in reference to Buick. Catch all six of Tigers Buick Invitational wins.
From 7.00pm, see Tiger at the peak of his powers with his “four peat” at Arnie’s Bay Hill Club, a course which suited Tiger’s eye and was the scene of eight of his victories.
Wednesday, May 6
From 6.00pm, Tiger burst onto the professional scene in 1996 on the back of his third consecutive US Amateur. What made this even more astonishing was the fact that Tiger won the US Junior Amateur the three years preceding.
We go back in time and sit down with the six players that Tiger defeated over his six-year Amateur championship run as they take us through what it was like going head to head with a young Tiger.
Thursday, May 7
From midday, we look at how Tiger closed out the end of the century with arguably one of his best seasons, 1999. Here we look back at seven of Tiger’s wins.
From 7.00pm, we look at Tiger’s blowouts, the tournaments he dominated. We start with the record breaking 1997 Masters and follow with two more of Tiger’s blowout victories.
Friday, May 8
From 3.00pm, we focus on the streak, Tiger’s incredible run in 2006/2007, winning seven straight tournaments that he competed in, starting with the 2006 Open Championship.
Saturday, May 9
From Midday, we look at Tiger in playoffs. Tiger has one of the most impressive playoff records (11 wins-1 loss) on tour, and today we bring you nine of Tiger’s wins by means of a playoff.
Tiger had only played a handful of tournaments as a professional before his first win, the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational. He finished tied first on 27 under par with good friend Davis Love III, the rest is history!
Sunday, May 10
From 1.00pm, we head to Arnie’s place. Tiger Woods and Bay Hill have become synonymous on the PGA Tour. Tiger has played 18 times at Arnie’s place and has won the tournament a record eight times, having lived close to the course for the first 10 plus years of his professional career would no doubt have helped. Here we take a look back at all 8 of Tigers wins at Arnie’s place.
Drummond Golf’s Tiger Week will air on FOX SPORTS (Channel 503) which is available on Foxtel and Foxtel NOW. Content will also be available to stream on Foxtel GO and on demand and also to stream on Kayo Sports.

Why doesn’t Fox Sports News ever take any press conferences?
They used to. Now they don’t have any staff so I imagine it’s a lot more difficult.
Yeah, it’s a real shame but FSN is a shadow of the channel it was a few months ago.
Why? It’s not that difficult to put the press conference video on the channel. They could even simulcast Sky News. They just need to press a button. Even if they only show them when they are on live programming. Its just plain lazy.
Apparently there were more redundancies across Fox and Fox Sports yesterday.
Paige makes a really good point in the last line of that tweet - seems like Foxtel/Fox Sports have lived well, well beyond its means for a long time and now (sadly for everyone who has been made redundant over the past few weeks) it’s coming back to bite them dearly.
So sad FSN use to run live 18 hours live per day and when things were interesting I could watch it hours on end live press conference and reaction from different commentators across the day. Now it’s down to about 3 hours. Gone are the days to leave it on in the background and watch things unfold.
They should at least have someone on standby to break into the repeats for breaking news or press confereinces
Do we have a list of the Fox Sports on air staff sacked?
