The draw for next year’s Asian Cup soccer tournament was made overnight. Defending champion Australia is in group B alongside Syria, Jordan and Palestine. The Socceroos met Syria and Jordan in the recent World Cup qualifying campaign. The Asian Cup will be held in United Arab Emirates in January and Fox Sports has the broadcast rights.
