FOXTEL TO SERVE UP A SECOND HELPING OF HIT COMEDY SERIES JULIA

The critically acclaimed hit comedy series JULIA , inspired by the extraordinary life of legendary chef Julia Child, has been renewed for a second season. The series, which premiered on FOXTEL on April 3, concludes its first season tonight from 5.00pm On Demand on FOXTEL.

JULIA is inspired by Julia Child’s remarkable life and her long-running television series “The French Chef” which pioneered the modern cooking show. Through Julia’s life and her singular joie de vivre, the series explores a pivotal time in American history – the emergence of public television as a new social institution, feminism and the women’s movement, the nature of celebrity and America’s cultural evolution. At its heart, the series is a portrait of a loving marriage with a shifting power dynamic.

Season one features a stunning cast lead by Sarah Lancashire ( Happy Valley ) in the title role and joined by David Hyde Pierce ( Frasier ) as Childs’ husband, Franz Kranz (Homecoming), Bebe Neuwirth ( Frasier ), Fiona Glascott ( Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald ) and Brittany Bradford (Broadway’s Bernhardt/Hamlet ) and with guest stars including Judith Light ( Transparent ) and Isabella Rossellini ( Blue Velvet ).

JULIA is produced by Lionsgate and 3 Arts Entertainment for HBO Max and is exclusive in Australia to the FOXTEL Group.

The official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of And Just Like That…, from executive producer Michael Patrick King, has been released today ahead of its double-episode premiere 22 June on BINGE. The following nine episodes will premiere weekly on Thursdays.

And Just Like That… the new chapter of the ground-breaking series Sex and the City, follows “Carrie” (Sarah Jessica Parker), “Miranda” (Cynthia Nixon) and “Charlotte” (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

The eleven-episode series also stars returning series regulars Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, and Alexa Swinton with Kim Cattrall set to make a guest appearance.

BINGE is bringing New York City’s iconic pop culture landmark to Melbourne,

inviting fans to come down and get their picture taken on the famous steps

To mark the return of And Just Like That… BINGE is bringing Carrie Bradshaw’s famous apartment stoop to Melbourne ahead of the premiere of the highly anticipated second season available to stream at the same time as the U.S. on Thursday 22 June.

The stoop - which is 2.2m width x 4.8m height - weighs approximately 1 tonne, is inspired by Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic New York apartment stoop, and will pop up at Chadstone shopping centre located in Malvern East from 8 – 11 June allowing fans to come down and get their very own snap on the famous steps.

It’s been 25 years since Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment debuted on the show, with Sex and The City fans from all over the world visiting the location in New York City to see where Carrie lived. And in the first season of And Just Like That…, Carrie moved back into the apartment she called home for many years.
