Fox League

I guess their logic, even if it seems stupid, is that 502 and 504 has live output that night - even if it’s talk shows - and would attract most of the casual audience.

All other general channels (503, 506, 507) are airing recorded sport events. The obvious fits, Sky 1 and 2, are on wall-to-wall racing coverage.

But 504 has Midweek Tackle at 7.30, so 502 it is then. Doubt the watermark will be Fox League anyway - it probably will be “Fox Sports 502”.

Quality graphic job

I always find these commentator photos so odd - they’re never the same quality, and you sometimes see guest commentators (or those who obviously didn’t turn up to pre-season shoots) using press conference or photos taken with a phone!

It’s a live shot. Blocker is actually disintegrating.

God knows how he still gets a run as an analyst. He’s terrible at it.

He’s managing to escape the graphic.

Don’t they have Fox 505 to use…? Or Fox Sports News? Weird call IMO.

He gets 3 games a week too.

The zeroes were (and still is) off-center for some reason.

They were in round 2 as well, seems like the text by default sits in the left of the box rather than centre.

Finally Fox will be broadcasting only their second NSW cup game this year.
They’ve had the opportunity to take sky’s coverage of Warriors cup games this year on a Friday Afternoon or Saturday afternoon but opt for the previous nights replays or Minis.

I was wondering what happened with this. I watched the NRL 360 episode he was meant to appear on and there was no mention of him…

Well that was odd - Canberra/Penrith dropped out, went to a breakdown screen, then a Fox Netball ad, then a graphicless Channel 9 coverage (with commentators) before going back to Fox

Interestingly the few seconds of Nine audio was commentary + ref mic, but no crowd.

Just checked that passage of play on the Fox Mini and it looks like they’ve got a clean feed recording of it from the OB (or whichever studio Voss and Blocker were working from if it was a remote call) as it has the full passage of play with Voss’ commentary but no score graphic even after the point where the Fox graphics returned to the live broadcast.
