Records have fallen across the Foxtel Group following a triumphant return to Las Vegas as fans flocked to Kayo Sports, Foxtel, Foxtel Now and BINGE to witness an action-packed weekend of rugby league.

With Fox League, on Kayo Sports and Foxtel, the only place to watch all four games of the rugby league extravaganza, coupled with Fox League’s comprehensive top tier coverage, Sunday 2 March was the most streamed day ever for the channel with 144 million minutes streamed.

Expanding the rugby league schedule to include an international women’s game and a Super League game saw the Jillaroos achieving their biggest audience ever across Foxtel and Kayo Sports in their victory over the Lionesses. The Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves game also soared to the top of the most watched Super League game of all time across Foxtel and Kayo Sports. The Penrith Panthers v Cronulla Sharks game was the most-watched game over the weekend, with the game also being the most watched regular season Panthers game ever across Foxtel Group.

Fox League’s comprehensive coverage, expert analysis, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content played a pivotal role in driving audience engagement and delivering an unparalleled viewing experience.

Fox Sports Managing Director Steve Crawley said: “Another great experience unique to the NRL. One day someone will come up with a better way to kick off a national competition but you wouldn’t want to be holding your breath. Amazing Las Vegas. Great games and an amalgamated crowd from around the world determined to have fun. Fox League is chuffed to have been able to present every minute of it to our customers.”

The record-breaking performance on Fox League, across Kayo Sports and Foxtel, reinforces its position as Australia’s premier destination for live NRL, as the sport continues to grow and expand.

Wasn’t sure of the value in the recorded episode of NRL360 last night - obviously travel time means they have to do something and all the usual talent were making their way back, but given the stories that had broken (Warriors assistant coach allegedly throat grabbing a journo, V’Landys talking about cutting the games back to 3), it felt very dated.

According to The Sunday Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield, Fox League’s documentary on the Panthers-Sharks clash in Las Vegas will air in April.

Fox Sports and the Penrith Panthers are putting the finishing touches on a documentary to be shown next month that will give viewers an incredible insight into the four-time champions.

Last weekend in Las Vegas, halfback Nathan Cleary, lock Isaah Yeo and fullback Dylan Edwards all agreed to wear miniature microphones in the game against the Cronulla Sharks.

The chatter among the three superstars will give fans the most extraordinary understanding of the match-day communication behind the most successful footy team in decades.

What is everybody’s take on the idea that Dan Ginnane dropping the F-Bomb on air on Friday night. I think it’s just wishful thinking in some people’s part. But an amusing thought that he’d go full 12th Man

He says he didn’t say it: https://x.com/DanGinnane/status/1898252357550608803

Tiffany Salmond will be on the sideline for Triple M in Auckland on Friday night. Should we assume Shaun Johnson will be on the sideline for Fox?

She went freelance at the end of last year, experienced and knows the game pretty well after working on sky for the last several years.
