Iâd be slamming the pub for giving him 1 schooner.
This Sundayâs Las Vegas schedule has been posted on Foxtelâs online guides (all times AEDT)
8.30am Super League Round 3: Wigan v Warrington
11.00am NRL Round 1: Raiders v Warriors
1.15pm Womenâs International: Australia v England
3.30pm NRL Round 1: Panthers v Sharks
Are Fox taking SKY feed for the Super League or their own coverage?
I have a feeling it will be SKY feed as there has been next to no premotion of it they have only focused on the two NRL games and the Womans international game.
Andrew Voss just said on SEN that he is calling the Superleague game for Fox League
As in Sky Sports UK? Youâd think Sky Sports would be taking Foxâs coverage, and it seems that they are if Vossy is calling it.
Yes, SKY Sports UK.
Will it be Fox taking it as they will be in Vegas and are able to call it and film it - hence their own graphics.
Or will it be SKY Sports callers and graphics and the such.
Or FOX Callers with Sky graphics?
All broadcasters are tightening their belts. So Sky could just take Foxâs coverage, warts and all. Vossy wouldnât be a bad fit, as he knows his British rugby league better than his breakfast radio.
If there is a clean feed, which I doubt, that could be sent back to Sky UK, and they add their own from their base and have their commentators in the UK.
But I reckon they would just go with Foxâs call of the game and let it be - if only to save money.
Do we know whatâs going on with Fox leagues weekly show line up this year?
Yes.
I heard Brian Carney will be there who anchors it for SKY.
I wouldnât be shocked if thereâs a mixture.
Heâs good value. The season he had with the Knights and his media partnership with Matty Johns was a cracker.
New sponsors include Westpac, BP, Vodafone, Tradie, Complete Home Filtration, Lion and Aussie Broadband.
Sportsbet, Ford, McDonaldâs, KFC, Chemist Warehouse, AAMI, VB, Harvey Norman, Toyota, Red Rooster, CBUS, Rexona, Musashi and Jim Beam are returning for another slice of sporting action.
Exclusive sponsorships this year include Red Rooster as the Thursday Night Leagueâs naming rights partner, while McDonaldâs has taken the Sunday Ticket naming rights partner slot with hostings across Sunday Nights with Matty Johns programming.
Ford is the Friday Night Footy on Fox naming rights partner and has come on board as a new naming rights partner for Mondaysâ NRL360 show, while Chemist Warehouse will take over sponsorship for Sunday Nights with Matty Johns.
Fox League Celebrates the Official NRL Launch in Las Vegas
The NRL has officially kicked off âVegas Weekâ with an event at Resorts World attended by Fox League talent Yvonne Sampson, Lara Pitt, Michael Ennis, Andrew Voss, Dan Ginnane and James Hooper.
Proceedings were co-hosted by Hannah Hollis and headlined by Chairman Peter Vâlandys and CEO Andrew Abdo. Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany also attended.
Delany said: âAfter our blockbuster coverage of Las Vegas in 2024 broke viewership and subscriber records, we are taking our coverage this year to the next level. Todayâs launch set the tone and kicked off what will be another incredible weekend of footy with Fox League exclusively showing the Raiders and Warriors clash and is the only place to watch all four games, live with no ad-breaks during play.â
Club Captains were interviewed on stage and Vâlandys was awarded the keys to Las Vegas as part of the formalities.
Shortly, Fox Leagueâs marquee shows âNRL 360â and âThe Matty Johns Showâ will get underway in front of hundreds of fans on Fremont St. Matty Johns, Nathan Hindmarsh, Bryan Fletcher, Braith Anasta and Gorden Tallis, will feature alongside others to kick off what is set to be another historic year for Fox League.
More shows to come with on air times (Sydney Local Time)
- Friday 28th February from 10am, NRL 360 and The Matty Johns Show on Fremont Street
- Saturday 1st March from 2pm, NRL 360 and The Matty Johns Show on Fremont Street
- Sunday 2nd March from 8am: Fox League Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium
The ONLY place to watch all four games of Rugby League in Las Vegas live is on Fox League, available on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
Watching the Wigan vs Warrington match on Fox League this morning, I noticed they didnât have the Super League logo super-imposed on the field, like it was on videos posted by X/Instagram.
No new graphics
