Fox League

The video is a little out of context to an extent - but a full explanation is required.

Depends if you take the early guilty plea or take it to the judiciary.

Agreed - its easy to see how a situation as was filmed can occur (you’d see it outside of a venue in nearly every town and city in this country on a weekend), its hard to tell whether he instigated it or not.

Take the early plea and hope you can be back in time for Magic Round

Surely we will be rid of him this time….

I’ve seen it and tbh it really says a lot. I would be very surprised if he is on there again.

It’s worth noting that so far the Police haven’t received a report from either party and they’re unlikely to investigate unless someone was to come forward. Even if they do, it would more than likely be a charge of affray and he may get away with some kind of behaviour bond.

Not a very good look regardless, but don’t be surprised if he keeps his job. Not sure I agree with TVBB’s assessment of it being a ā€œconfrontingā€ video, it’s two knuckleheads who don’t know any better resorting to primordial urges rather than walking away

Hopefully Paul seeks counseling for drinking and addressees his physical and mental health.

On Monday morning, NSW police confirmed that a 35-year-old man attended Balmain police station on Sunday evening where he was arrested and charged with affray.

He was given conditional bail to appear before the Downing Centre Local Court on Friday 7 June 2024.

Investigations into the brawl are ongoing.

I always thought James Graham was a boofhead as a player but he is excellent on NRL360.
Grabbed his chance and nailing it. Don’t need Paul Kent back.

Is it just me, but I’ve noticed that Fox Leagues calls lack atmosphere a little. While I prefer the fox coverage, I’m not sure whether it’s the crowd noise volume turned down or something else but compared to Triple M on radio and nine (venue depended) you don’t really feel the atmosphere as much.

I reckon they’ve dialed back the atmospheric noise to make it harder to determine whether they’re at the ground or not.

I don’t mind it (the volume, not the not-at-ground calling) - having watched a decent amount of American sport recently, they really turn the atmospheric noises up to 11

Why isn’t it good that there’s more atmos?

It makes it incredibly confusing audio, with the atmosphere often overtaking the commentary - the MLB coverage is particularly bad for it

Watching Sky Sport 4 who did the Warriors vs Roosters prematch from studio before throwing to Fox League for their coverage. A shame the Kiwis don’t have a commentary of their own.

It’s normally involving Honey Hireme, Adam Blair Monty Bentham and Courtney Taipiri? Sorry for the mis spelling of names.
