The other part of it is that cricket is a far less active game than AFL. When the action is constantly moving across the screen, the larger scorebug can be distracting.

oh yeah, forgot about that. I assume it’s the Fox feed, right?
Needs to take the Cometti approach and call off the monitor with the occasional glance to the live play, so the call actually correlates with what the viewer at home sees.

The only thing that annoys me about this is the fact it’s not centred, if you’re going to have it so large, don’t not centre it as the dead space on the right is really distracting when there’s nothing there.

Yeah and again he’ll learn as he adjusts, but you can tell he’s holding back on occasion but slips into his natural game.

Does this mean Fox might still take the after-game interviews like they did prior to this year?
If they’re not allowed to have their own then they will, and they might on other occasions, but I doubt it if they can do their own.
I think we’ll see some tweaks to the graphics before Sunday or next week with all the “feedback” online.

Fox are too arrogant to implement advice, hopefully they do as it could be improved.
I remember 7 fixed their previous scorebug during the AFL. It debuted being very big but by round 2, it was smaller

They need to either centre it more or fill the score bottom , the gap on the bottom right is distracting which is making it look too big . Maybe also replace the FNF with the FOX graphic and get rid of the top right logo!

Yeah, that’s not great - the first thing a viewer turning on wants to know is the score, sure but that scorebox there drags your eyesight to it while play is ongoing.

I think that is partially because of the bright red and yellow colours of tonight’s teams. For example Collingwood v Carlton (white text on black v white text on dark navy) would be somewhat less distracting.
