Fox Footy

Should just put my magpies logo as the mascot for the international feed that would solve the problem.

And plus it’s a media forum I love it when people nit pick at something on the tv:rofl:

No giraffe , no love

  • I say.

I just find it all interesting, the relationship between the league and the networks, what they can and can’t do.
Incidentally, look what’s debuted five minutes ago!

Why couldn’t they just use the AFL logo :sob:

Call team for today’s game to be lead by Mark Howard and Anthony Hudson.
Perfect combination for a Hawthorn v Geelong game.

Thanks for the warning. I’ll watch it on Seven or turn the radio on.

Go radio. 7 has the tv versions of BT & Brayshaw.

lol yep. I’m on SEN with Gerard Whateley, Dwayne Russell and Adam Simpson.

I like Huddo and Howie…

Fair enough. I’m happy to have choices. In fact I think it’s great that there’s such a wide range of choices now, and the radio stations have put effort into making it easier to sync their feeds with the TV and streaming options.

I don’t mind Huddo or Howie if they’re paired with another PbP that I like more but together is not something I’m willing to sit through. I’m quite happy with the Howie/Hill and Huddo/Whateley combos. Really enjoy them actually. Huddo as the sole PbP drives me crazy. Howie as the sole PbP I can put up with but I can’t deal with him calling cricket. Whereas I’m perfectly as ease with Huddo calling cricket.

List of on-air personnel for Thursday night without separating studio and comms.

I don’t think there will be studio, they are all travelling to Adelaide.

“Desk” then.

Fox simulcasting the NM v BRI game on 504 and 503, then at the end of the first quarter cutting to ESS v MEL on 504 instead of having that match on 503, which has lead to less than eight minutes of pre-game unless the game is delayed.

Have Kayo audience been automatically transferred to 503 or do they still have to choose 503 manually?

The NM v BRI stream is on 503 the whole time, so no issues there unless they’re watching the Fox Footy live channel.

Footy legend Jonathan Brown given all clear following brain tumour operation

Jonathan Brown has returned to Queensland after being given the all clear following shock brain tumour surgery.

He is back home after recovering in Melbourne but is no rush to return to work with Fox Footy.

Fox Sports managing director Steve Crawley gave an update on his star commentator.

“Browny’s going great,’’ he said. “He went back, but he had to go and get his head checked first. If there were bubbles in where he’d had the operation he couldn’t go back. But he was cleared to go. We had a car ready to take him up, but he was fine to fly.”

Crawley said Brown was a much loved and missed member of the team.

“He Face Timed me from his hospital bed and showed me his cut — and oh it’s big, he’s got a big head. He’s a great man, he’ll be back.

“When he’s ready (he’ll come back), no pressure. We love him.”

Last minute and change of the GEE v WCE game, Fox went to the AFL/world feed for some reason.

Matt Hill called a replay as live play, I thought they would be at the ground for all matches since the entire footy media are all in Adelaide

May not be enough facilities at Barossa for two tv crews. Having said that, Fox not putting in much effort with this match anyway; not even doing they’re own replays most of the time, relying heavily on 7s main feed after goals.
