Yeah I love the animations of it, but I agree the scorebug isn’t my favourite.
I do love the ESPN MNF -esque transition stingers though.

Is it me or is the commentary on Fox as boring as? There is no energy, no fun, no BBL life?
BBL is all about big bash, but it’s Big Bore.

The stronger commentators for Fox are all resting up for the Test tomorrow.

Very good access with Fox able to get into the baggy green presentation to Alex Carey, given their head commentator Adam Gilchrist presented it to him and able to watch the speech live.

I do definitely think there’s a bit of a PR element to it from Cricket Australia in terms of lifting the lid a bit and showing some of those feel good moments given the recent bad publicity.
Given that Gilchrist would probably have relayed his message to Carey on air anyway (and cap presentations are usually filmed with sound down anyway), I think CA probably decided to allow it.

Love the transition graphics especially in 4K.
I’m just watching it and I don’t mind it being broadcast on the coverage, but I don’t like that it was part of the coverage. Like he introed into it and I think it made it a little novel, gimmicky. It was also a bit awkward that they stood for the camera and presented it. And then he nicked off while presenting again.
Studio is a bit lackstar. Who is the guy on the left with the blue suit?

Clearly shows the field of play doesn’t have any sponsor logos painted on the grass (all advertising is now done virtually).

Disappointed by Fox so far, expected better. Especially since they are the world feed they should have more England perspective. 7 doing better so far this series
