###RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS - SEASON 2

Premieres Friday 26 August at 8.30pm AEST Express from US

Hot off the heels of one of the most electrifying seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Mama Ru will return to the runway for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 2 and, in a win for viewers, Foxtel has announced it will be airing express from the US from Friday, August 26 at 8.30pm on a new channel - Arena.

In this second All Stars instalment, YouTube sensation Todrick Hall joins Carson Kressley and Michelle Visage on the judging panel alongside RuPaul for a season packed with more eleganza, wigtastic challenges and twists than Drag Race has ever seen.

The series will also feature some of RuPaul’s favourite celebrities as guest judges, including Raven-Symone, Ross Matthews, Jeremy Scott, Nicole Schedrzinger, Graham Norton and Aubrey Plaza.

Foxtel’s Head of Channels, Stephen Baldwin commented: “We know how passionate RuPaul fans are. Foxtel has been working closely with the production company, World of Wonder, and Passion Distribution and we are thrilled they have made it possible for the series to air in Australia just hours after its US telecast.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 2 will see 10 of the most celebrated competitors vying for a second chance to enter Drag Race history, and will be filled with plenty of heated competition, lip-syncing for the legacy and, of course, the All-Stars Snatch Game.

The All Stars queens hoping to earn their place among Drag Race Royalty are: Adore Delano (S6), Alaska (S5), Alyssa Edwards (S5), Coco Montrese (S5), Detox (S5), Ginger Minj (S7), Katya (S7), Phi Phi O’Hara (S4), Roxxxy Andrews (S5) and Tatianna (S2).

I found it strange last night that Housewives of Sydney was advertised on FTA 7.30-8.00pm AEST “tonight on Foxtel” - it would have been on air at that time. FTA must be desperate for the advertising dollars.

EIGHT REALITY FRANCHISES

Arena this December

Direct from the US, eight of the biggest reality series will premiere on Arena this December for a summer of deliciously decadent and unmissable entertainment.

LA’s most infamous restaurateur, Lisa Vanderpump, will kick of Arena’s reality domination when season six of Vanderpump Rules returns on Tuesday December 5 at 1.35pm – express from the US, followed by a prime time screening that evening at 8.30pm. In the new season, Lisa will forge ahead with plans to add another restaurant to her growing empire, but when new partners Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz show their inexperience, the veteran queen of hospitality will butt heads every step of the way.

Making its express debut on Arena, Tuesday December 5 at 9.30pm, is a brand new reality series RelationShep which follows Southern Charm star and bachelor, Shepard “Shep” Rose, as he embarks on a cross-country journey to find true love. The Charleston bar owner is broadening his horizons as he travels from coast to coast in search of a soul mate. But the fun-loving Southern gent has plenty of work to do to find that special someone and will need all the support he can get. As he makes his way from city to city, Shep relies on the help of his friends to meet new women and gauge the ideal romantic partner.

The arrival of two new Housewives will lead to more super-charged drama on the highly anticipated fourth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, starting Wednesday December 6 at 8:30pm. Long standing friendships will be tested, and new ones forged, when newcomers Sally Bloomfield – a former magazine editor, homewares queen and hotelier joins glamorous Persian lawyer Venus Behbahani-Clark, to whine and dine with Melbourne’s most notoriously feisty women.

In Project Runway Junior season three, it’s time for the millennials to move over for Generation Z to shine. Premiering Thursday nights from December 7 at 9.30pm, teenagers aged between thirteen and seventeen will snip and snipe under the guidance of long serving mentor Tim Gunn, as they forge a career in the cut throat world of fashion. Style commentator and reality star Kelly Osbourne will return to judge the new incoming breed of talented young designer stars.

The original and best of all the cooking reality franchises, Top Chef, will return for an amazing fifteenth season on Friday December 8 at 8.30pm, express from the US. Embarking on an epic food adventure through the state of Colorado, 15 diverse chefs from across America will battle it out for the coveted title amid the breathtaking landscapes and thriving culinary scenes in Denver, Boulder, Telluride and Aspen. Emmy-nominated host Padma Lakshmi will be joined by a panel of highly respected judges including celebrity chef and founder of the award winning Gramercy Tavern in New York, Tom Colicchio.

Dr Jackie is busier than ever when Season 5 of Married to Medicine Atlanta returns to Arena on Saturday December 9 at 6.30pm. With a top medical practice and new book to look after, Jackie is trying to come to terms with the harsh reality of her husband’s cheating. With a new lady in the mix, and multiple relationship and personal struggles to deal with, will the elite group of doctors in Atlanta be able to mend their friendships and move forward with their lives?

In the world of billion dollar real estate, Arena’s favourite LA agents continue to broker big deals and massive drama when Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles returns with a supersized premiere on Sunday, December 10 at 7:30pm. In season ten, the men of MDLLA get a run for their money when leading female agent, Tracy Tutor Maltas, joins the team of male agents. Emily Simpson
A true rags-to-riches story, Emily is an Ohio transplant who came from nothing and willed herself to great success to become an attorney, a part-time party-planer, a wife and a mum. However, motherhood has been a bumpy road for her after years of fertility and pregnancy issues. Resigned to the fact that she could not successfully carry her own children, Emily’s sister Sarah stepped in as a surrogate for all three of Emily and her husband Shane’s children - daughter Annabelle and twin boys Luke and Keller. With three children under five, and two step-daughters from Shane’s previous marriage, Emily and Shane, are trying to plan out the future of their family and their careers together. Emily planned Tamra’s baby shower for granddaughter Ava a few years back, but had a falling out with her shortly after befriending some of Tamra’s former besties. Now focusing on mending the toxic relationships in her life, Emily hopes that she can find true friendships with the ladies.

Gina Kirschenheiter
This expressive outsider from Long Island is shaking up Southern California and its politically correct Orange County ways. As a mother of three kids under the age of 5, Gina keeps her expectations low and her patience high. With her husband working and living in Los Angeles during the week, Gina is a single mum of sorts, which causes her to re-evaluate what she wants and needs in her marriage. Having only lived in Orange County for 3 years, she is still acclimating and is quickly learning that friendships in the OC aren’t always what they seem.

Familiar face Destiney Rose is back and when Mike introduces Branding Executive Nema Vand to the crew, the self-professed “white-washed Persian” wastes no time shaking things up. Still reeling from last year’s pitfalls, these tight-knit Shahs must confront deep-rooted issues – both within themselves and amongst the group – in order to lift each other up and take the next steps toward their future.

This season, MJ is poised to marry her Prince Charming Tommy in true Shahs fashion, but her pre-wedding glow is dulled when her opinionated mother Vida gets involved and her father’s health begins to rapidly decline. When MJ finds herself plagued by indecision and self-doubt, the whole crew must come together to keep her steady and help get her down the aisle. Well into the second year of wedded bliss, Reza and his husband Adam are in the process of renovating their brand new house and settling down, but tensions build when one of Reza’s investments interferes with Adam’s surrogacy plans. After a recent failed marriage, GG is on a quest for independence, but rethinks her decision to remain single and try for a baby on her own when newcomer Nema showers her with attention. Joining this audacious crew is never easy, but Nema manages to hold his own and quickly finds himself in a complicated love triangle. Looking to get to the root of his ongoing relationship struggles as an adult, the group bands together to help Nema gain the confidence to confront his unconventional family about his broken upbringing.

To ensure smooth sailing this year, he hired his most trusted stew, Kate, along with a new crew who are all full of experience on the water. Kate is excited for a new adventure out of the Caribbean and a new team to manage. Her interior team consists of formally trained butler Josiah and former solo stew Caroline. Kate immediately bonds with Josiah, her first male stew, but when their friendship turns into an exclusive clique, Caroline is left out. Chef Adrien turns up the heat in the kitchen with his complex and creative four-course meals that immediately impress Kate, but when his diva reputation surfaces, he clashes with the interior and feels Kate’s wrath. Dance Moms: Resurrection will follow Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after effects of a cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Season 8 kicks off with a one hour special on Sunday June 9 at 6:30pm providing an inside look at Abby’s physical and emotional struggles while undergoing chemotherapy and learning to regain the use of her legs, all the while pushing forward to keep her dream of a new competitive dance team for the Abby Lee Dance Company alive.

Immediately following at 7:30pm, the first episode of Dance Moms: Resurrection will showcase the newest kids of the ALDC as they fight to become the best dancers they can be and earn a spot on Abby’s Elite Team – while their mothers fight battles of their own.

The long-running popular reality series that launched the Housewives franchise is back! The new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County will premiere Wednesday August 7, express from the US at 1:35pm AEST on Foxtel.

Season 14, will be available to stream on Foxtel and screen on Arena with an encore primetime screening at 8:30pm AEST.

Returning for season 14 are Housewives Tamra Judge , Shannon Storms Beador , Kelly Dodd , Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson . The ladies are joined by new housewife Braunwyn Windham-Burke along with the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson , who appears throughout the season.

This season Tamra is moving on up, as she settles into her new home behind the gates of the neighbourhood that started it all, Coto de Caza. With Eddie’s heart condition on the mend, she finds herself nursing the relationships around her as she is caught in the middle, not only at home with her two sons Ryan and Spencer arguing over their beliefs, but also with Vicki and Kelly, who both refuse to back down.

Having shed over forty pounds and the baggage of her marriage, Shannon is back on the fun bus as she juggles her many suitors. It’s her year of transformation, as she tightens and lightens and does her best to avoid the negativity around her.

After enjoying her short stint of the single life, Kelly has ditched her “bench” in favour of her new boyfriend, Dr. Brian, a plastic surgeon. Still reeling from the accusations at last year’s reunion, more shocking allegations are spread about Kelly causing her to reassess how she deals with anger.
