Are they the EPL defending champs?

Apparently this is the quarterfinal match in this tournament.

Could we somehow just DQ both teams, maybe?

It was the quarter-final match between Real Oruro and Blooming. 17 players were sent off after a massive brawl at the full-time whistle.

What a scoreline.

Deeper research told me that was 11 players, 7 of which were Blooming’s.

Then 6 staff members split equally.

Loads of media outlets (and some if just looking at that graphic above) said 17 players though, which isn’t true.

Heavy downpours taking place at the stadium (and will continue through the final whistle).

Proven to be not an obstacle for a spectacular long-range goal. Another one for this team in the span of a week.

Inter Miami thrashed NYCFC 5-1 en route to the 2025 MLS Cup final. Tadeo Allende netted a hat-trick.

They will play Vancouver.

The final is set for December 7, 6.30am AEDT on Apple TV (pretty sure you don’t need a sub for that).

It was at about halftime that the MetService issued a severe T-storm warning for the area.

Surprised they played through anyway.

Australia is in Group D of the 2026 World Cup alongside the US, Paraguay and playoff path C (Slovakia/Kosovo/Turkey/Romania).

All of this group’s games will be played in the US as well and scheduled for 13, 14, 20 and 26 June.

Schedule will be released 4am AEDT tomorrow.

The Socceroos will be hoping it will play one of the weaker UEFA teams (out of the four in playoff path C) because it makes it easier for them to progress to the next round, knowing USA will have a massive home ground advantage.

Also it is beyond laughable that Donald Trump receives the inaugural FIFA Peace Award.

We’re a good shot of qualifying out of that group.

Belgium may give us a bit of trouble but otherwise if we play our cards right it should be a cakewalk for us Kiwis in the group.

The awkwardness of this exchange 😭
