Why are the NT clubs not invited to participate in the new NST competition?

They are, however they haven’t applied to participate. They would be unlikely to get a license though given the infrastructure standard up north.

The video appears to show Coote saying he disliked the German manager because he “accused me of lying” after one game.
It was not immediately clear when the video was filmed, or whether it was manipulated.
Coote was the official for Liverpool’s most recent league game, a 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday night.

The Oceania Football Confederation said Wellington’s Sky Stadium would host the semi-finals on Friday, 21 March, with kick-offs at 3pm and 7pm.
The final will be held at Eden Park in Auckland on Monday, 24 March, with a 7pm kick-off.
The winner of the final will gain entry into the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States in 2026, while the losing finalist go head to a play-off match against another Fifa confederation team for a second tilt at making the cup.

Gold Coast, Perth and Sydney were yesterday named as host cities for the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup. It was also announced that an official recommendation has been made for the tournament to be held from March 1 to 21 2026.

The A-League United Round is on this weekend.
The Men’s games will be played at the Sydney Football Stadium, and at Commbank Stadium (Parramatta).
The Women’s games were all to be played at Leichhardt Oval. But due to poor playing conditions, they have all been moved to Kogarah Oval. And entry is FREE to all games due to the late notice in venue change.

Former England football manager Gareth Southgate has been given a knighthood in the King’s New Year Honours list.
Alan Hansen, the former Liverpool great, got an MBE and David Moyes, most recently the manager of West Ham, received the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

Still with the Jets, Natasha Prior from their A-League Women side was shown a red card during the 2-0 loss to Western United last Friday night, after biting back at a fan who used an offensive slur. Prior is facing a two-game ban.
