I wonder what will happen if City are forcefully relegated because of the 115 charges the club has to face? Does he have an out clause?

Hehe  I find the case against her pretty dodgy at the least. Not sure how the prosecution over there would even be bothered to bring such a non issue to a trial. Guess the police are really scared little children down there

Why are they playing a A league game on a Thursday afternoon? I know it’s in NZ, but Thursday seems like a od choice? Is there a public holiday in NZ today?

Today is Waitangi Day in New Zealand which is a public holiday.

I was there at this game, and I can tell you - this turned the match for us.

He’s doing better though.

Australian soccer star Sam Kerr has been found not guilty of racially harassing a British police officer.

Ms Kerr called Metropolitan Police Constable Stephen Lovell “stupid and white” amid a dispute over a taxi ride in January, 2023.

She remained expressionless and looked down as the not guilty verdict was read aloud to court.

Her fiancee broke down in tears watching on from the public gallery.

Over the week-long trial, the jury was asked to consider if she intended to harm the policeman with her words, whether they did cause him harassment, alarm or distress and if they were racially motivated.

The jury considered its verdict for four hours before acquitting Ms Kerr.

The national second tier football competition will be known as Australian Championship. It will begin in October this year.

Watch Australian football fuck this up.

For starters, some of the old NSL clubs are returning, I’d tell them to fuck off. They’re part of the reason why the NSL got the arse, the old Soccer Australia got the arse, and taxpayers had to fund the Crawford Report which got us the A-League. The only one worthy was Wollongong, and they should’ve been put in over Macarthur. This reeks of the European Super League proposal - how are they worthy?

If you’re going to have any sort of second division and eventually pro/rel and a pyramid system, you tell every single state federation, you’re moving in line with the A-League and playing in the summer. And New Zealand needs to be included - we have two of their teams in there, what happens if those two get relegated?

NSW and Northern NSW need to be merged, at gun point if you need to. The Jets don’t put their reserve teams in NNSW, they play in the Sydney comp. There’s no need for 2 separate federations in NSW. You could have 3 top tiers, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong.

You could have simply put all the clubs that made the NPL final series in as the second division - they earned their spots. If they can’t afford it, then it goes to the next ranked club.

And watch what happens if the big 4 - $ydney FC, Wanderers, Victory and Melbourne City - are in any danger of getting relegated. They’ll get bailed out one way or another.

They should’ve looked at Japan and how they run their leagues. They had to separate themselves from the old JFL days - clubs have to represent a region, not a group of people based on their forefathers and where they escaped from.

Australia has won the right to host the 2027 Deaf Football World Championships. Commbank Stadium in Parramatta will host the opening and closing ceremonies, with matches also played in venues across Western Sydney. Australia, which will host the tournament for the first time, beat Germany by just two votes in the final vote.

Following on from my previous comments…creating a pyramid system allows these gronks into a wider system.

A lot of the Croatian clubs celevrate links with the Ustaše (Croation nazis). We dont need that shit.
