Hey MediaSpy"er’s" I need some help.
At my old tech we have a music channel similar to MTV music channel but we are stuck when it comes to fonts. At the moment during Beta testing we are using Ariel. Which does not cut the mustard.
Any broadcast quality font recomdations would be super.
The font will be used for the lower thirds displaying artist info and songs
As well as another banner to launch with shows on now next and later.

Why Arial? Are you looking for sans-serif in particular?
We are using Arial because we couldn’t find any font we are happy with yet, I’m just looking for any fonts that might work for it.
Comic Sans
How about Ubuntu?
One font I quite like which is simplistic is Roboto
Those already listed
Ariel - stock standard
Comic Sans - different but not suitable
Ubuntu - yuck! let Sunrise be a lesson
Robboto - contemporary, fresh
How about Open Sans?
I was joking about Comic Sans btw. I detest that font.

Does anyone know what font Channel Ten use for promos and PRG?
They use Proxima Nova Alt Extra Condensed for their PRG.
