Dear @Radio_TVGuy can I kindly suggest before you make posts that you consider whether the post you are making is adding something ‘new’ to the thread rather than it simply being a REPEAT or another summary of info from what is already known from content posted moments earlier. If you post ‘new’ content your posts might well be appreciated by others more. Have you considered by simply repeating earlier posted info you might be silently irritating readers
Here’s a sample of a new material post that should be useful to readers of this thread.
Noted this morning whilst dxing from the Mildura webserver that the logo for Life FM wasn’t displaying. I suspect the cause of this is a changed RDS PS. The PS was last known to be:
1079Life
Can I kindly suggest to @melb_mateyy0 & @ninkeon58 that the file name for the RDS Logo of Life FM be updated to that displayed in the capture below. I think that should fix the problem.
I have gone and updated my TEF with the latest beta firmware from the developers directly. We are hoping this fixes the inverted audio bug which was apparently a known issue with the latest stable firmware.
Well my post did say the server went offline and was removed from the map, the previous one I made before that (before it went offline) was the one where someone managed to break the TVCL2 webserver. It’s essentially new stuff, and an update.
Yep, the one operated by melb_mateyy0. So is iCloud Private Relay essentially now blocked again from the webserver? Because that’s exactly what I’m using whenever I need to use my phone to launch the webserver. Has anyone who’s used this webserver on an iPhone, iPad or Mac (with iCloud Private Relay turned on) been getting this? Or is it just me? When I’m DXing with it on my PC, it works without issues. No VPNs or adblockers switched on whatsoever.
He needs to accept he’s not welcome on the server, stop trying to access it, and move on. It’s only hurting others trying to enjoy the hobby. Remove it from bookmarks, don’t click on it on the server map. Stop mentioning me, stop trying to PM me gibberish. There are thousands of other streams to go listen to, go use them. Do I have to delete my account here to get some peace? Leave me alone, enough is enough.
Apologies to anyone else who can’t access it, it’s nothing personal of course.
I am enjoying the hobby. Last week I actually managed to receive Coast FM 95.3 Warrnambool on your server for a few minutes, replacing the regular Triple M Shepparton signal, as well as receiving the MIXX FM Colac repeater at Apollo Bay on 95.9 FM.
The message I PM’d you was not gibberish, rather just a plugin addition suggestion.
Yeah, you’ll need to crop your screenshots a bit better. If you ‘specialise in FM Dxing’, why do you have local 89.5 JJJ bookmarked on the Sunshine Coast radio??
Option to prioritise svg files over png files if they both exist for the same station. Note that this will create more “404 file not found” errors if there are more png than svg files, however that’s not a major issue.
Also the “Santa hat” default logo is shown during December, similar to how the profile pics are displayed here.
Edit the .js file accordingly, options are located at the top.
Switch off of the old data in maps.fmdx.org is now complete, and everything is now from FMList.
Will need a restart of your FM-DX webserver to clear its local cache and pull the new data through.
This should then hopefully mean that any server using either the manual or auto-logging feature like @ninkeon58 's should start being able to see logs successfully go over onto FMList.
Might be two small issues here for the 96.9 Flow FM on the Mildura server of @ninkeon58
Probably a FMList update needed with no display of TX site data (unless in the works?). I don’t think the ACMA coordinates are 100% accurate either, but not too far away.
The logo has been recently lost for Flow FM when receiving RDS from 96.9 Flow FM (Yarrara South Rd (Mildura region)), re earlier logo I sent. I think this is a local webserver file issue.
Flow FM has now been fixed. I ended up adding it to the no RDS override list, which gets the logo to appear. I hope I haven’t confused the plugin by doing it this way. Also got both Vision Christian logos on there now too, and updated Hot FM with the official banner from their social media. Doesn’t look quite as easily readable as the previous one, but I’ll take it.
Happy to say it looks like the logging is working now with the updated data. Seems like sporadic E has been auto-logged by @ninkeon58 's server over the last day -
These are incorrectly marked as tropo for now, the same has happened during some out-of-season openings here in Europe recently. I know Noobish is hoping to get some time to improve the integration with FMList so it will log sporadic E correctly though.
