The first episode of Season 2 just finished up on 10 on the East Coast. And glad it is back on FTA. It was a great episode. Great cast, and great script. And left me wanting more. Can’t wait for episode two next week.

Great to have it back on our screens. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed this show. Great writing and storytelling. Brilliant mix of drama and comedy.

A Brand New Season Of Five Bedrooms Is Coming.

Season Four Of Paramount+ Original Five Bedrooms Is Commissioned.

Paramount+ is proud to announce that there’s more Five Bedrooms magic on its way, with news that season four of this beloved local Aussie drama has been commissioned.

Picking up just weeks after the season three finale, viewers can expect a controversial romantic entanglement, plus an unexpected diagnosis.

There’s so much more in store for housemates Liz (Kat Stewart), Ben (Stephen Peacocke), Heather (Doris Younane), Ainsley (Katie Robertson), Harry (Roy Joseph) and Simmo (Johnny Carr), which will be told through the eyes of Five Bedrooms creators and writers Michael Lucas and Christine Bartlett.

Filmed in Melbourne, season four of Five Bedrooms will find our cast in the midst of their own unique crises, with each striking at the core question of the series: what’s the best way to live a life, and who are the best people to live that life with?

Five people, one house, many worlds colliding.

Five Bedrooms will commence filming later this year and is produced by Hoodlum Entertainment for Paramount+. With major production investment from Screen Australia, it is developed and produced with the assistance of Film Victoria.

Season 2 of Five Bedrooms finished up its airing on 10 tonight.

Ratings wise, it was “average”. But then again, considering it was on Paramount+ already, then it was okay. At least the season remained in the same timeslot throughout the season.

Season 3 has aired already on paramount+, but do hope that it will air on 10 into the new year.

Such a good show, so well written. Just a shame that a season is only 8 episodes because it feels like it’s only just started and it’s already over.

Five Bedrooms Opens The Door To A Brand New Series.

Season Four Now In Production For Paramount+.

Paramount+ is thrilled to announce that our favourite Aussie housemates have all returned home, as filming for season four of Five Bedrooms commenced in Melbourne this week.

This season picks up straight where we left off at the end of series three. Our quintet of Liz (Kat Stewart), Ben (Stephen Peacocke), Heather (Doris Younane), Ainsley (Katie Robertson) and Harry (Roy Joseph) has grown into a surrogate family of six, with the addition of Simmo (Johnny Carr).

The housemates find themselves in the midst of three unique crises and all wrestling with the big questions – what’s the best way to live a life and who are the best people to live that life with?

Kat Stewart said: “I am thrilled to be back rolling on Five Bedrooms season four. It is a joy to play and work with this incredible cast and crew, and an honour to bring Christine Bartlett and Michael Lucas’ unique vision to life. The world of Five Bedrooms is funny, heartfelt, timely, nuanced, inclusive and real. I can’t wait to see where they take us all next!”

Stephen Peacocke said: “I’m so happy to be back on deck for season four. Our cast and crew are such a treat to work with and I can’t wait to see what twists and turns our awesome writers throw at Ben.”

Season four of Five Bedrooms is coming soon to Paramount+ and has received major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Film Victoria and is produced by Hoodlum Entertainment.

Great news for Five Bedrooms; one of the more successful Australian dramas in recent times.

I wonder when the next season will be premiering?

Last year it was New Years Day, so I would’ve thought they’d have tried to stick to a similar schedule given the show has aired all over the place over the last few years.

Am looking forward to the next, one of the best Aussie dramas currently IMO.
