I believe you are able to mirror the stream to your TV via Google Chromecast or Apple Airplay, and regardless of how people viewed it (on their TV or on a smaller screen) that’s how a lot of people who subscribed to Optus Sport solely for the World Cup were watching.

From what I can gather, Fetch TV did not experience any issues with Optus Sport, while the Optus Sport app and website were the main things that carked it.

I think this demonstrated that the issue was easily preventable on Optus’ end, had they provisioned enough resources or chosen a more efficient method of distributing the video stream to their app.

Yes, and the Fetch Mobi app was perfect using Optus mobile 4G, but the Optus Sport app wouldn’t work properly for me at all.

It’s the constant reference to “we”. Moore was barely saying a sentence without uttering it. They’re commentators, not cheerleaders. Should be doing the professional job They’re being paid to do.

Does anyone know what happening from Saturday night when of the round 16 games start are Optus going to try to do on there own with there games

As it stands, SBS get to pick their Match of the Day of the 2 matches per day during the round of 16 and quarters finals. The other is exclusive to Optus.
EDIT: the TV Guide is currently suggesting that SBS are showing the early game (midnight EST) for each of the round of 16 matches.

Yes I can believe people are complaining because people are generally ignorant. Personally, no issue with Lucy. If only everyone in the host chair could put in the effort to know their stuff inside and out in the manner Lucy has. I think a lot of the problem people are having is that she is, gasp, a woman! How dare she!
