Ahh, it just wouldn’t be a Paul Fenech show without John Mangos! Surprised not to see friendlyjordies in there also.

Darraadong has a good choice of local news on Six and Eight. Hopefully Eleven starts their news up soon.

Thought this was real for a second when I read “explosion”, until I saw “Doctor Who”, and then “UFO”

Watching Paper Dolls on P+ and they’ve got the girl group being interviewed on fictional radio station XSR 38.5 FM, and a shock jock clearly a pale parody of Kyle Sandilands. :grimacing:

Boy Swallows Universe. While much of the show is spot on with the period, the news bulletin is way off as there was no Channel 10 in Brisbane in 1985 and when TV0 changed to 10 it never used the logo seen.

Watching this too and surprised they’ve used 10 a couple of times now, though I’d have no idea whether what they portrayed was correct so that’s interesting that it’s a bit off the mark there.

I wondered that though that on the opposite side of the dial to the 4 is 10 so perhaps that’s almost forgivable.

Oh bless, they’ve never used a rotary dial before to know the dot points to the channel :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe it’s from SDQ-4 Warwick and maybe took TEN News from Sydney (since its only really just over the border from NSW)?
