Alternate dimension 2004 Peter Hitchener is the same age current day Peter Hitchener, a paradox has been created! sarcasm

I find it a little surprising how they used the Nine logo, but didn’t go the full horse and recreate a basic National Nine News era-backdrop.

Also I noticed the Nine watermarked was in the 4:3 safe zone in one cap, then switched to the 16:9 safe zone in the next…

Yes the graphics etc didn’t really look to be 2004, along with the presenter lol

although, weren’t some watermarks back in the day applied to each stream? An analogue one would be 4x3, but the SD digital would be at least 14:9?

Apparently in the 3rd season of the TV series ‘Wanted’ there was a scene with former 7 Adelaide presenter Graeme Goodings presenting the news. If anyone has the 3rd season (it isn’t on Netflix) could put up a clip of it? I’d love to it (if it’s even real).

Australian news bulletin and anchor, as seen during a montage scene of global news stories on the dangers of “Teflon”. From the 2019 environmental legal-thriller movie “Dark Waters” starring Mark Ruffalo, Anne Hathaway, Bill Pullman and Tim Robbins. Currently featured on iTunes and Netflix. A true story from the late 90s-early 2000s.

It wouldn’t have killed you to say it was Kim Watkins presenting a National Nine News bulletin, you know.

Hmm, those graphics look rather inspired by those used by CBS-owned local stations in the US!

Between Two Worlds features a number of fictitious media organisations. One of which is the imaginatively named State News that has a program The Weekly Report. Also seen is C4 Media and radio 2WP.

Considering this show was filmed over a year ago that’s a good effort.
