It’s kinda weird that some of the graphic designers don’t really adhere to 16:9 (and 4:3) safe areas when in the cinematic 2.35:1 anamorphic aspect ratio. Also, in some cases, the graphics fill up the whole 2.35:1 screen, and then later fill up the whole 16:9 TV in the movie (which both of them have different aspect ratios) which seems inconsistent and unrealistic to me. Probably the designers just don’t bother about these safe areas because they either don’t know about it or just don’t care about aesthetic accuracy because it’s just fiction.
