ABC News channel’s budget coverage will also be shown live on ABC Australia into Asia-Pacific region, from the speech to The Business.

On Thursday, ABC Australia will show Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s Budget reply on delay at 11.15pm AEST, due to its coverage of AFL match between Gold Coast and Geelong.

It would be good for the 7:30 host to refrain from continually badgering the interview subject in an attempt to get a gotcha moment. Just ridiculous line of questioning that lacks logic and coherence.

Feels like the ABC has very much gone back to using their show branding, rather than an overall Budget rolling coverage brand.
Not alot of on screen graphics during the panel discussions and interviews either.

Probably not. No reason to be. They had all the information ready for normal prerecord time.
