Caps of the promo for Nine News’ coverage:
Peter Overton did the voiceover for the one which aired during tonight’s Sydney 6pm bulletin, so I wouldn’t be overly surprised if the other markets got versions done by their local newsreaders.
Q&A Budget Special Monday 8 April at 9:35pm with Josh Frydenberg as sole panelist.
Looking at 10’s EPG tonight, there is a 6 min break between Ambulance & NCIS tonight and then 14 minutes between eps of NCIS: Los Angeles which I assume they will do updates and then a re-cap and analysis later in the evening of what’s handed down in the Budget.
Yes… Queensland used the sensationalist VO.
Why not schedule their coverage? Why hide it?
I don’t think it’s necessarily about them hiding it, they’re slowly rebuilding resources within the network still and haven’t got to the stage yet where they’re adequately promoting what they’re doing when it comes to additional news content.
When they do provide additional coverage, they generally do it quite well and it’s a shame more people aren’t watching.
