All so predictable and boring. Surely someone can think outside the box and offer something different. Like host the coverage from a marginal electorate town centre and interview actual people about impacts instead of politicians.

Probably because majority of people don’t actually care and think there is no need for them to go on the whole morning about it.
Well they are going to the UK, so he might not want commute. Plus it’s somewhat pointless anyway… doesn’t really add much to the show imo.

The ABC coverage was alright but sometimes amateurish with all of the dropouts and hang on shots.
The graphics were like they were from a template but when I did see the caps of SBS, it looked like a ripoff of Newshub
