Very nice clean graphics.
I’ve noticed that ever since HD simulcasts of the main channel arrived, presentation has cleaned up a lot amongst the networks.
Yes. Nine looks really hot.
Add that to the fact that Nine always does a decent job at the main coverage.
Sky News coverage details.
Ten will be showing it too. More likely it will be air at 10.05 to 10.23 following Hughesy, We Have A Problem.
Seven’s 15 minute bulletin is at 10pm
10:00 PM Seven News: Budget Update
I reckon Seven News and Nine News in WA will have extended Budget coverage during their 6pm bulletins. (Due to time difference, the Budget will be revealed at 5.30pm WA time)
TEN will have live updates this evening (like election coverage) … followed by a 15 minute bulletin at 10.15. Sandra to host, Hugh in Canberra.
They really need a chief political correspondent because the more junior reporters based in Canberra can’t eeally cover the budget so they send Hugh.
Hopefully the new news person has started and will begin to sort out the organizational chaos of the news department.
Better yet appoint Hugh to be political editor, or get Paul Bongiorno back.
Ross Dagan started at Ten yesterday.
Jonathan Lea and Phoebe Bowden will be reporting on the budget… you need a third to go into the lockup from 6pm until 7.30pm… where all they do is read the budget.
Digital producer also in Canberra.
The actual Budget lock-up is much longer, taking up the whole afternoon.
