The lords have finally listened!
Finally!
The beginning of the end. I think even Ten realises this now. No more propping up the show.
so they simulcast it on three channels for some years now, and without notice, drop two of the simulcasts? Nice!
Should have happened years ago! But as others said - finally!!!
But I wonder why? Maybe a slow and painful death?
If it doesn’t last, I hope they try another game show. Good to have some different programming - and locally produced.
Dropping the simulcast indicates a quick and painful death, but Ten are known to keep dying shows in the schedule to rot. We’ll see what happens.
Maybe they could snatch Temptation?
I think its time for a change. Price is Right, Temptation or Jeopardy would be great. They could then keep Family Feud as an All Star format once a week at 8:30.
I would love ten to get the rights to The Wall.
The price is right might be good, they just need good sponsors for good prizes, and who would host? Tim Bailey?
Again? We had a shonky version hosted by Larry Emdur in 2012 and it failed miserable. Too early to suggest FF will end.
According to WIN, Family Feud is on 1 and 11 in some areas due to WIN Local News in QLD (except Mackay), NSW, VIC (except Mildura) and TAS.
Despite the fact that I don’t mind watching the show, I think it’s got to go. Not that anything in that slot will rate for ten but considering the promotion time given to feud it really isn’t worthy of the slot. Ten really need to think what they need to do and invest in it.
Just on a unrelated note since the family feud simulcast has now been dropped does anyone think that one is in much need of a long overdue reboot
Maybe reformat The Project to more news based, Walked does an excellent job at that, and move it to 6pm. Sure, it’s not going to beat 7 or 9 News, but it frees up the 7pm slot. Ten could find a game show and fit it in there to have a difference with its competitors?
That would be good too, but i would like a slight set refresh and possibly a new presenter.
hopes for simpsons at 6pm on eleven now but knows that it will probably never happen
Despite early concerns Denyer was more seriously injured, the Channel 10 presenter is understood to have walked away from accident with a suspected broken finger and lower back bruising, his manager Titus Day confirmed.
Fortunately Grant is OK but he will have to rest for a while. Hope Ten has enough episodes in the can.
Good news today that Grant has resumed filming new episodes of Family Feud. According to the Herald Sun he is recovering from a broken lower vertebrae , and is on pain medication to film the show and attend the Logie Awards this Sunday. He is only filming two episodes of FF each week instead of the usual five.
TV Tonight adds he has already filmed a special Star Wars episode to air on Thursday May 4. It could air after MasterChef.
