Agree. Plus he was a legend on Ten News, there for 33/34 years.
BTW, miss the Morning News with Ron.

Ron Wilson has won a few Australian Commercial Radio Awards in recent years, so he is going along fine.
I would like to see a team of frock shop entrepreneurs on Family Feud, being Solomon Lew (owner Portmanâs & Jacqui-E), James Packer (former owner Table Eight & Rockmans), Ron Wilson (Cliche Fashion Norwest), and Bob Rogers (former owner Saucy Froots Manly).
Yeah Ronnie is killing it at Smooth. And enjoying it most importantly!
The âwhoâ gag was directed at the suggestion of me being involved.
Haha, agree of course. Ron should be very entertaining to watch. As will Sandra Iâm sure!
All Star FF next week
Sunday 20 November
06:30 pm Big Bash Cricketers: Grant Denyer brings together some of the Cricket worldâs biggest names to battle it out in All Star Family Feud. Adam Gilchrist leads fellow commentators against Shane Watsonâs team of KFC BBL Stars.
Monday 21 November
07:30 pm News Readers Vs Hosts; Itâs an all star showdown as Grant Denyer brings together some of Australiaâs most-loved television hosts to battle it out against our favourite newsreaders.
They both claim to be Australiaâs #1 breakfast show, but now Today and Sunrise can battle it out on Family Feud to take the top spot!
Tony Barber has gone full circle from Family Feud to Family Feud. He the first host of FF in Australia⌠back when it was a little show taped at Channel 7 in Perth
Iâd like to see a team of Australian cigarette commercial stars - Hoges, Strop, Norman Gunston, and Tony Barber.
Iâve always loved Tony and remember watching the original Family Feud but Iâm surprised theyâre using him considering his âembarrassing old uncle performanceâ on Studio 10 a couple of months ago.
This is pre-recorded at least so they could cut out any awkward bits.
Itâs a shame they couldnât get Rob Brough and John Deeks from 7, and Daryl Somers or Bert Newton to join Tony as a team of former Family Feud hosts
Is Sandy Scott still with us?
I imagine so. I forgot about him hosting Family Feud. I think he only lasted a few months before they axed the show.
@NewsWeary @TelevisionAU I remember when Sandy Scott was really big back in the early 1970s, and I saw him live at Roselands. I donât remember him hosting Family Feud.
He took over once Daryl Somers left when Hey Hey Itâs Saturday moved to prime time. He only lasted a few months before Nine pulled the plug. I think the show was past its peak well by the time he took over anyway.
Sale of the Century to 6.30 weeknights next year on Ten
And eleven & one.
Just finished watching this and it was pretty funny actually. They should do a TV Newsreaders who shouldnât be on air are memes with Daily Bailey heading along with Fergo, Darren Curtis and Mel McLaughlin with the meme team supreme of Coight, Nollsie, Guy and Huey.
I saw the last few minutes and in it at least three presenters who did a far better job at hosting than Denyer.
But those hosts have about 200 years of hosting experience.
