ESPN AU/NZ

Is it espn or Disney or a combination of both? Espn has a lot of sports in March - April period. That’s why MLB opener is on Disney and some other games are live on Disney and only a replay is airing later

Currently the tv guide is not showing it at 1am Friday for game 1.

Looks to be Disney+ and not espn at least not the opening matches

Sky NZ is saying ESPN will show every game live on linear.

Makes sense - the games are at 5.30am and 10am NY, so it will not impact the US sport offering.

Foxtel guide is showing game 1 on ESPN at 1am AEDT Friday.

Game 2 is on ESPN2 on Saturday.

I guess Fetch Tv hasn’t updated their guides yet coz they are not showing PSL, showing LIVE Get Up & First Take

ESPN’s advance guide is through April 13 and there will be only two matches on ESPN2. All others are on main channel.

  • March 28: Multan v Islamabad (1am AEDT)
  • March 29: Quetta v Karachi (1am AEDT)

They don’t have US rights?

I was illustrating that PSL action occurs in US off-hours, therefore it enriches the existing schedule, not taking away from it.

ESPN just went from the Half Time of NBA game between Pistons & Thunder to an episode of PTI. But came back before the 2nd half started

NFL confirms that they’re done with overlapping MNF doubleheaders, starting this season. Those “secondary” games will move elsewhere in the schedule.

Therefore all primetime games will be standalone.

Bruce Eva commentating?

Late changes to ESPN’s MM coverage:

  • 4-hour pregame show ahead of men’s Final Four today, starting at 3am AEST
  • The altcast Courtside at the Women’s Championship will be live on ESPN2, main telecast remains on ESPN (should really be ironed out then, it wasn’t up to the task yesterday)

Dave Pasch and Jay Bilas will handle the call for the men’s final 3 games this year.

Isn’t the men’s one on CBS/TNT? So wouldn’t it be Ian Eagle or Kevin Harlan?
