Yeah it must be doing something. I have never seen the whole DAB+ Sydney 1 ensemble not picked up on my portable radio during a scan.

I tried to tune in on the weekend (Saturday) on one radio. Didn’t try yesterday. Just did a proper check today did a retune on my PC.

Good thing Sydney’s most listened to radio stations are on 9B and (to a lesser extent but still…) 9C then, hey?

I’ve just done a rescan and all the Sydney DAB+ stations are appearing on my S100.
SCA have added CROON, INDIE and 80s NEW WAVE.

You think SCA could at least do it like Nova, and have a few unique stations per market, not dump them all on Hobart.
If they are just exploiting the loophole, launch DAB in some of their remote monopoly license areas or something to spread it out.

With 4BC & 4BH both on 104kbs, Could we see Nine Radio sell some of the Kps to the Sports Entertainment Network for Brisbane’s own SEN?
Nine can’t sell it. But they are able to lease it out.

I’m currently hiring an ASX and noticed that it has “DAB-DAB Link” and “DAB-FM Link”. Does any service/station at the moment use DAB-FM link?

No, neither of these are used in Australia, while they are part of the DAB standard, I’m not sure, but I don’t think they are part of the Australian DAB+ standard for broadcast. I think I’ve read somewhere, early after the start of DAB+ in Australia, that the broadcasters were told not to use it?

Works well in the UK. I had drop outs listening to BBC Radio 2 on DAB in Scotland in the car and a few times it switched to FM. FM reception wasn’t much better though.
