With Deal or no Deal struggling to rate against the Powerful 7 and 9 News Bulletins, I doubt it’ll Survive into 2027.
10 can’t axe everything unless they have a replacement.

The new season of Celebrity Jackpot specials start Monday August 10, according to a promo shown tonight during MasterChef.
Such an odd strategy. Prime time specials for a show that doesn’t even rate well in its own slot? What is going on at 10?
I think they’re desperate for content in prime time and hoping these shows spark interest in the evening game show.
Deal has been on for a few years now. If people aren’t actively choosing to watch it by now these specials aren’t going to get them to.
It feels like they have no other option. They’re axing shows left, right and centre and have nothing to replace them with. I think it’s cheaper for them to do these celebrity editions rather than commission anything new.
Are these Celebrity Specials at the normal timeslot (to boost it’s ratings), or special time of 7.30pm, and weekly?
As long as it gets over 250k it’ll be a hit for 10.
I think the Celebrity Specials will be shown at 7.30pm. The first episode is between MasterChef Australia grand final (Sunday) and The Traitors Australia (Tuesday).
This Is A Big Deal. Big Stars And Big Jackpots.
Deal Or No Deal: Celebrity Jackpot Premieres Monday, August 10 At 7:30pm On 10 And 10 Streaming.
Deal Or No Deal is cranking up the excitement with a new slate of Celebrity Jackpot primetime specials, where Australia’s favourite celebrities play for life-changing money for the charities closest to their hearts.
First celebrity off the rank on Monday, August 10 is The Traitors host Gretel Killeen, who will call on her killer instincts to beat the Banker.
But the fun doesn’t stop with Gretel, we’ve got a stellar slate of celebrities banging on host Grant Denyer’s door to crack into some cases.
Lining up for the chance to win $200,000 for their chosen charity is The Wiggles, The Cheap Seats co-hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald, the stars of Gogglebox Australia, and comedy favourites Denise Scott, Anne Edmonds and Lloyd Langford.
This star-studded line-up will put their nerves to the test as they take on the ultimate game of chance, where every case opened has the power to change lives.
Deal Or No Deal: Celebrity Jackpot is here to make Mondays great again with big personalities, big risks and even bigger rewards.
Deal Or No Deal: Celebrity Jackpot.
Premieres Monday, August 10 At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Streaming.
Looks like there were contestants from the upcoming season of The Traitors opening cases during Gretel’s episode.
The only thing I would risk at 6:30 if Deal Or No Deal was moved would be Big Bang Theory and cut the late night repeats. The Finishing Line and Lingo could air from 2pm and move the Millionaire Hot Seat encore to 7:00am after Deal Or No Deal. 10 could air Bold And The Beautiful at 6am. ET could air around 11:30pm in the current 10 News+ late slot
The Deal Wheel unexpectedly returned tonight. The banker’s jackpot was $17,011. The $5,000 amount was replaced with a $5,000 Harvey Norman gift voucher. The contestant won $75, and spun the wheel and it landed on $10,000 which is what he walked away with.
Why don’t channel 10 just extend the news to 6.55 and then just ditch the main game from Deal and just show a spin of the wheel?
