Something I did not know was that a contestant’s game could run over two episodes, if time ran out at the end of their episodes.
The original episodes lasted for 1 hour (including commercials) meaning a contestant could run over 2 episodes due to time constraints.
Wish Deal Or No Deal on Channel 7 had reruns on 7TWO still. The reruns on 7TWO in 2017 that were 2013 episodes were insane. I hope they return to do reruns on 4:00PM weekdays and 6:00PM weekends. I always loved it when the $100,000 and $200,000 went kaput. But not when the Fantastic Four event took place, as it had a different animation and sound effect when it got knocked out. What’s the Fantastic Four event in Deal Or No Deal? The Fantastic Four event is when there’s a double chance to win $50,000, $75,000 and $100,000. They replace the 50c, $750 and $1,000. $200,000 used to be affected, as it used to be $250,000 in the 2009 Fantastic Four events, but it was back to $200,000. And there were many segments, but on the top the screen, if someone said ‘Deal’ earlier than expected, (example, $15,600 with $20,000, $75,000 and $100,000 in play still), there would be a blue and white background and money amount, which would be the last offer (examples: $25,000, $35,000, $50,000, $75,000 and $100,000, and Andrew O’Keeffe would say: ‘You haven’t actually won that ($25,000, $35,000, $50,000, $75,000, $100,000). Okay?’). Oh yeah, when the $100,000, $200,000 and fantastic amounts get knocked out, various dollar signs appear. ($100,000 would have 3 dollar signs, $200,000 would have 4 dollar signs and the fantastic amounts would have 5 dollar signs.)
