I recognise about 4 players in that list (Salt, Pooran, Raza, Adair), and if anyone else can get more it’s an obvious lie or Google job

Didn’t he shoot John Lennon?

I think Chapman is from an associate nation? And I know of Arshdeep (a mate’s cousin, from India) and Raza (from Zimbabwe).

Does this list include league cricket? You’d have to assume so.

Finally a win for a Brisbane team in a national sporting competition!

The Heat have beaten the Sixers by 54 runs (8/166 vs 112 all out) to win their 2nd BBL title.

The outfield catch to get rid of Sean Abbott is quite remarkable too.

Great crowd at the SCG tonight: 43,153.

The player of the final is Spencer Johnson who took 4/26 in the Sixers’ innings. The player of the tournament will be revealed at the Australian Cricket Awards next week.

Unfortunately Steve O’Keefe ended his stellar career with a loss. He was the last batter out with a first ball duck.

The early tip from James Brayshaw regarding the order of venues for next summer’s test series against India:

1st Test: Perth (start late November)
2nd Test: Adelaide
3rd Test: Brisbane
4th Test: Melbourne (Boxing Day)
5th Test: Sydney (New Years)

Happy for the Heat. Tipped them to win on New Year’s Day. Seeing Perth or Sydney win again would be dull.

Its a shame they don’t start im Dec and finish on Australia day. So its school holidays.

Reasonable 1st innings score from the Windies of 311.

Does look to be a good batting surface though. Expecting AUS to get 400+ when they bat shortly.

Edit: and now at tea, AUS 4/24! LOL! The Smith opening experiment has just not worked.

CA wants the BBL to be as free of Test matches as possible so they can try and get as many of the internationals back into the tournament - I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a slightly later start to the BBL as well.
