Also any reason why Izzy is out? Surely didn’t only get her for 3 of the 5 test matches

Presumely she only got enough time off from her proper military job to do only 3 tests

Just saw her insta post and it mentioned something about “only being contracted to do the ‘LIVE’ tests”

So maybe she wasn’t contracted for dead rubber matches?

She did pbp in Adelaide but was an expert in Perth and Brisbane.
Jack Heverin should come back in as long as NBL commentary duties allow.
They used others during the T20’s if they are extremely short.

Is MMM pushing 7s coverage at all?

Surely there’d be a couple of clauses in the Fox guys’ contracts preventing that? There’s generally one on each stint.

First time they’ve mentioned it just then

What was said & who was in commentary?

It was more in passing and basically tasking the piss out of themselves when they were on screen

There have been a couple of comments about those in the box who aren’t aligned with Seven (Howard, Taylor, Waugh)

Like what?

Darren Lehmann is absent from the ABC’s coverage of the Boxing Day test today as he is sick.

I tried out the “in stadium” option on the Listnr app while at the MCG for the Boxing Day Test. It was rock solid and I estimated latency to be about 300ms.

I compared to 105.1 and FM was actually worse pushing close to 1 second of latency so I stuck to the Listnr app for the entire days play.

When I tuned in, they were joking about Taylor now being paid by both Nine and Seven.

I’ve used the Cricket Radio function in the CA Live app, and the latency isn’t too bad. But since I’ve gotten my JBL earphones and headphones, I’ve gone back to AM where possible I will explain why in the right thread.

Zane Bojack is currently in a Brisbane hospital with a serious back injury, and Quentin Hull is on holidays. As the result, Brett Sprigg was asked by the ABC to fly up to Brisbane to commentate tonight’s BBL match at The Gabba with Michael Price, Nathan Hauritz and Darren Lehmann.

CA bans ABC after scathing Clark comments ‘overstepped’ the mark

Cricket Australia sensationally banned players from doing post-play interviews with the ABC on Tuesday in a pointed response to commentator Stuart Clark’s scathing attack on George Bailey.

Stunned CA chief executive Todd Greenberg declared former Test fast bowler Clark to be out of order for what he described as a “personal” attack on Bailey and CA’s head of cricket, James Allsopp.
