Nine News Queensland confusing coverage this morning with their 1 hour morning news. They showed a conference live from Queensland and later Victoria but are now showing the Federal Health Ministerâs conference as if live breaking news, but it isnât even on one hour delay as it was originally broadcast well over an hour ago. Thjis would be a case wher âRecorded earlierâ would be useful.

I think they were trying to show that they did wait for him to return, but he didnât. Iâm all for taking shots at ACA but I donât take huge issue with this. Sure itâs not formal but thatâs not the genre of their show. I could see Today or The Project doing something similar, would you have a problem with them doing it?

The over-the-top way they went about it - with the empty chair, etc. - is the problem.
They shouldâve went to a break, mentioned after that break that they were waiting for the Treasurer to return & introduced the next story, after which they couldâve said what happened & been done with it.
The theatrics are a new low, even for ACA (as pathetic as it has been for many years now).
(PS: Iâm no fan of this terrible government.)

Well if he was required in the House of Reps for an extended period of time (such as the window when he was penciled in to do the ACA interview), he couldnât return - thatâs not his fault

I would expect another PM press conference 9-930 I would say.
I think itâs fair to say we are not far off following NZ and the UKâs current plans, so this is going to be the biggest story this generation. Stage 2 lockdown. Never thought I would live to see something like this.

Fake news on the ABC. Morrison said that seating in food courts in shopping centres are closing, not that shopping centres are closing.
