Imminent press conference at 6:30pm so that will mess up news and project schedules around the country.

Seven seem to be continuing with their 6pm bulletins following the press conference, while Nine are now showing Married At First Sight.

In Brisbane:

  • 7 and 9 broke into promgramming to take the presser live. They cut away for the news exactly at 6pm.
  • 10 staying with the delayed 5pm news and The Project.

Well that’s understandable given they have only shit that doesn’t rate.

It’s not coverage related and is better suited to the impact thread elsewhere on the board.

Sky News did well in my opinion, and watched the recording of the Conference (I know I am a sad person!) from ABC News. Good commentary all around.

I was a bit apprehensive about all the coverage, but guess this will be with us for a fair while, but I just hope they all realize that there is such thing as too much information and that we need to tune out into tv shows too!

Bizarre how long he lasted at the ABC given his fascination with ratings

I do agree with him. I think Seven and Nine are doing a fantastic job. But so is the ABC.
