given “D” and “F” are next to each other on the keyboard, its not exactly hard to see how it would happen

It was actually what NSW Health had on their website. Reckon that’s where the mistake was made.

Daniel Andrews press conference on Abc, sbs and 9 News

On their social media sites…

Almost every day this week The Project has run a story critical of the vaccine. Today they focused on pregnant women. They really like the phrase “I’m not an anti-vaxxer, but there are real (unfounded) concerns about …”

On Monday, when they were discussing Gladys’ planned incentives to get the vaccine it was waleed (the academic) that was sympathizing with the anti-vaccine sentiments and Steve (the talkback radio guy) that was pro-vaccine.

Surely the responsible thing to do is at least equally balance it out with something positive about the vaccine.

The Australian now condescendingly claiming Victorians as “Australian of the year” FFS

Well they went through a lot to get through to the other side. You can see how they made that decision. You’re in Vic as well so know the toll the four month lockdown had on the community.

The point I was making was that The Australian and its sister newspapers did everything to run a nasty campaign to undermine Victoria’s effort to bring things under control and told us we were sheep for following the government, and fed the flame for protests, etc. And then months later decide that we’re heroes for doing what we did. Sucking up to us after months of running against us.

Fair enough. Understand your context now.

Typical behaviour for a Murdoch paper against a Labor government unfortunately. Victoria have done a excellent job containing the virus after the issues they had.

I’m interested to know how the local Perth media are covering the Perth lockdown?

Here’s some coverage from The West Australian, PerthNow and WAToday websites.

Although, note that PerthNow has also decided to put emphasis on the panic buying situation as well.

A little tabloid-like, but not as bad as 7News.com.au.

As for the papers, we’ll just have to wait and see how the lockdown is covered.

The Perth lockdown took up the first 17 minutes of Seven News Perth tonight, based on the video posted on 7News YouTube channel.

Mark McGowan press conference live on ABC News (via YouTube), SBS World News (via YouTube), Nine News (via 9Now app), 7 News (via 7plus) and 10 News First (via 10Play app). Press conference started at 11:40am. At the moment, Nine Perth was during a Live tennis match when the News broke.

Seven and ABC still with the press conference, which has been going since 11:50am AWST. Seven Perth have been doing a local Morning News bulletin since 11:30am. They dedicated about the first 20 minutes of last nights bulletin to the lockdown, whilst Nine News only had about the first 10 minutes devoted to it - so it seems that Seven are going more in-depth than its competitors (ABC Perth have posted a fair amount of content on their socials though).

Again, Seven Morning News is live from Perth - plenty to cover with the lockdown, and now a dangerous bushfire that’s damaged around 30 properties.

Nine Perth meanwhile is showing tennis (at least on the 9Now streams)… :upside_down_face:
