Better Homes and Gardens I believe has moved to Melbourne for filming.
The COVID-19 lockdown in Sydney has caused filming of ABCâs Win the Week to pause for two weeks.
A good way for it to quitely be retired in my opinionâŚ
Seems like everything has stopped in Sydney part from news programming.
Do we think thereâs a risk of additional news bulletins and repeats filling up the primetime schedule of our networks before the end of the year?
Television production in Melbourne is still continuing.
Well SCAâs Tasmanian news studios can produce all the Tas bulletins and noodle updates maybe they can add a bit more to the workload. I can see it now - âLIVE from 7Tasmania - The Latest with Peter Murphyâ
That email was briefly discussed during The Latest on Wednesday - remember hearing Michael Usher mention it during a segment with Gemma Action about Qantasâ mandatory vaccination requirement
A member of the production staff at Sevenâs Martin Place studio has tested positive to Covid-19. The studio is undergoing a deep clean tonight so production shouldnât be effected tomorrow but there are back up plans in place. Donât know if The Latest is going ahead tonight.
The Latest wasnât shown (at least not in Queensland).
Didnât air in Sydney, so probably fair to say that it was cancelled everywhere.
Surprised that we didnât see an In-Program Ticker advising that The Latest would not be seen tonight with an apology for any viewer inconvenience causedâŚisnât that what usually happens whenever news programs canât go to air due to unforeseeable circumstances?
One would hope they would at least be adhering to social distancing from tomorrow. But knowing Seven itâs probably unlikely.
Hopefully no more infections come from this one at Martin Place.
I imagine the back-up plan is to present Sunrise from Melbourne with Melbourne presenters, should some troubles occur with deep cleaning and needing to get more people tested etc. overnight?
From Monday, October 11, all essential broadcast/production staff who currently work onsite at the networks Pyrmont studio will now be required to provide evidence of at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccination prior to entering the building.
At this stage, it is understood the policy will only apply to staff in the broadcast/production areas of the building and has only been implemented in Sydney. Essential employees working within the office sections of the building will not be mandated to receive the vaccine, but will need to continue wearing face masks at all times.
