I think today will tell more. There appears to be more and more places outside the Northern Beaches listed as a hotspot. So if the incubation period is 3 days we could see more cases outside that Northern Beaches location and seeding will occur elsewhere.

Listening to the NSW Health Minister this morning on Today, and with his slack attitude towards masks and restrictions, all I can say is good luck Sydney and NSW. Youâd think heâd be doing all he could to stop the spread now rather than having a complete lockdown in the future. Wear masks NOW NSW. What does it hurt?
Iâd agree that it starts out as two different things (pragmatism and panic buying) but Iâd also argue that there is a point where they turn into the same thing. People stock up fast simply to be prepared, creating the perception of low stock levels which in turn causes panic buying. The two are very closely linked.
I am so fucking glad all you people here on MediaSpy that panic, along with the other State Premiers, the so called âexpertsâ that predict 3000 daily cases and the head of the AMA who this morning called for a total lockdown, are all not the Premier of NSW. Once again, NSW leading the way and PROVING to Australia that we have the best strategy to keep people sane, have some freedom and still fight COVID. Well done NSW and especially NSW Health & the NSW Govt.
Itâs possible the slump in numbers is because they were conducted on a Sunday. That being said, I think the response level from the government isâŚOK so far. I remember feeling the same way with the Crossroads and Thai Rock clusters and they turned out to be suppressed perfectly well.
