COVID-19: Discussion (2022 Onwards)

I’m surprised “Police wanted measures that were easier to enforce” didn’t make an appearance - or is that just a NSW thing?

Not sure this is the big surprise people might think it is

In a paper today in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, Australian researchers pin VITT (vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia) on two collaborating culprits: a protein hidden deep in the vaccine, and a type of human antibody produced by a few individuals with a certain genetic mutation, known as a “forbidden clone”.

Importantly, now the problem has been spotted, vaccine developers should be able to work around it.

“There’s every chance we can create a trans-gene to modify this vaccine,” said Professor Tom Gordon, a researcher at Flinders University and the paper’s senior author. “We should be able to remove the risk of VITT.”

Kind of seems irrelevant to modify it when Moderna / Pfizer seems to be working well?

These businesses are arguing the govt should have locked down even harder than they did in 2020?

I never want to experience anything like that again , but seems like centuries ago.

My highlight was Donald trump telling everyone to drink bleach and knowing his fan base they probably did :joy:

I remember Gladys started the wars with the other states and said something to the affect New South Wales is the gold standard :joy:
