Hearing 2RPH Wollongong via As this afternoon on 93.3
@anonymousbroadcaster So far listen for 15 mins⌠Sometimes I wish I could go back to the 80s. Brings back good memories, especially with the music on the radio in those days. Hopefully I can listen to the show on delay somewhere.
That 1980 to 1987 period was just pure bliss, and the better years of countdown. I would have to enquire to the stationâs owners to see if a podcast could be put up, not sure what copyright arrangements they have in place. Donât know the situation with community radio, but I remember with my station, having music in podcasts was a separate license to live streaming and broadcasting. Just trying to be considerate of the owners, and not wanting to get them into further red tape.
99.7 Bridge FM off the air in Redcliffe.
Has been for a number of days during daylight hours due to Optus upgrades on the water tower.
Optus have delayed completion until the end of the year so this will go on longer than planned.
Caught a bit of Lake Macquarie FM going down the M1 late last night. Interesting music mix but they kept cutting their IDs off. Not leaving enough time for it to play.
ABC RR Bendigo is 91.1, Classic 92.7, NR 89.5, JJJ 90.3, RN 594 AM
No, RN is on 621 AM.
Neither are Bendigo based anyway.
And 594 is Local Radio, not RN.
Thats correct 594 AM is ABC Wimmera based in Horsham, but does cover a very large area
Yep, sorry RN is 621 from Melb and 3WV is 594, a mix of RN and Regional programming.
Sorry to be a wet blanket Brad, but youâre wrong again. 3WV 594 AM is only regional programming. No elements of RN in its programming.
Years ago 3WV did include some RN programs but not for a while now
Thanks @TV-Expert, thatâs fantastic reading about Alaina Earl and her station. Community radio, filling the gap as it should.
4RFM has a bucketload of translators in the mines too, commonly heard via E-skip.
Not a wet blanket blanket at all, I was still under the impression they integrated some RN proramming as they used to, so thanks for the update.
Listening to programming from Vibe or The Vibe 89.9 from the Hawkesbury this arvo & evening. Iâm befuddled as to whom the music is aimed. The music genre at times is all over the place like âa dogs breakfastâ - rock, operatic, rap, pop⌠old & not so old (OMG) Shirley⌠they canât be serious? The most positive comment I can add is that thereâs some songs/music I like, oh and the deep throaty male âStation Indentâ sounded great.
Me thinks more thought required with the programming.
Canât locate a website or Facebook page for 'em either, much like the WHCR storyâŚ
Warwick Qldâs community radio station makes their local newspaper:
Some interesting observations. Their existing council depot site is where their TX site is, so thatâs a change.
Princely sum of $227 rent for the year. Quite the peppercorn.
That because whcr and vibe are the same person, same BSL number ![]()
