CNN

Not wanting to be pedantic, but the heading of this thread should be CNN, not Cnn.

Unfortunately Discourse doesn’t allow all caps topics or categories at this time. It was annoying me so much I included the full name in the topic title instead of just the acronym.

yep it does my head in - it’s a real annoyance but not much can be done.

A spokeswoman for the presidential candidate Donald Trump, Katrina Pierson, who regularly represents Mr Trump on TV, has been slammed for wearing a necklace made of bullets during an appearance on CNN.

If that wasn’t strange enough, she defiantly responded to the criticism with a bizarre remark about wearing a foetus next time.

CNN embarrassment Don Lemon is at it again it seems…

How this man remains on-air and employed is beyond me.

I was watching CNN and thought they had switched to Helvetica from Gotham:

But, apparently, it’s “CNN Sans”: http://www.newscaststudio.com/2016/04/22/cnn-now-has-its-own-font/

It looks awful IMO

CNN’s new custom font doesn’t really look too unique, if that’s what they were going for.

Today CNN Turk was forceably taken off the air during the attempted coup here is a screen grab of the empty studio.

Other broadcasters were taken off air at around the same time.

TRT world news was taken off air but then returmed from the TRT London studio.

TRT News was also taken off air and reports say this newsreader was held at gunpoint and made to read statements.

Normal transmission has since resumed.

It appears that AT&T wants to buy CNN’s parent, TimeWarner…

CNN’s move toward more tabloid, down-market journalism seems to have paid off. The news network is looking at a potential $1 billion in profit alone, its highest ever.

Madonna said the f-word twice live on CNN today

Classy.

CNN’s head honcho Jeff Zucker has acknowledged his network’s ratings and morale have lifted since the network began more openly criticising the Trump Administration. The interview was taken in light of a clash of words between CNN’s White House correspondent and the President in a press conference, in which Trump called CNN “very fake news”.

Zucker claims that internal investigations into CNN’s brand have shown that the network’s decision to more aggressively refute often-bogus claims by the White House has not damaged the channel’s credibility.
