And now a ‘Bendigo Advertiser’ listing.. a whole week from 9 July 1985.. only lists three channels.

Strange that the Bendigo Advertiser did not have GMV6 Shepparton listings, as towns in the north of the coverage area (eg. Goornong, Elmore, Rochester, Echuca) could receive it instead of BTV6. This was before BTV and GMV merged its programming at the end of 1988.

Most people in Bendigo and Castlemaine had high gain Band III horizontal antennas pointed towards Lookout Hill for BTV6.

Noticed 7 aired the ODI cricket from London live at 5:30pm AWST before cutting into the news and Today Tonight then resuming coverage at 7.00pm with 1.5 hours of play lost for Perth viewers.

Over on TEN, the season final of The OC aired and Taken continues on Nine for primetime offerings 20 years ago tonight.
