I’d forgotten Ray Warren used to commentate tennis on Ten.

For comparison, the same day in Victoria (plus South East SA)

Could this have been an attempt by Seven to get a half-hour’s head start on Nine News? That’s what I think.

Was probably also an attempt to take some viewers away from Ten’s news hour at 6.00

Just to add the SBS0/28 listing (not in TV Week “Country” edition in those days), here’s the Woman’s Day / TV Day version for the same day:

From memory this was the UK quiz show that was taped in real time with contestants in the UK, US and Australia all competing against each other.

No local late news in Adelaide at this time on 7, 9 or 10 in those days. Melbourne and Sydney stations usually had a second edition in the late 70s.

Any idea when NWS9 were showing Young Doctors and The Sullivans in 1977? I can’t see either soap listed in those Monday listings. Possibly they were in hourly blocks twice a week?

2 and a quarter hours of a racing preview?

From the week ending 22 April 1977 on NWS9:

The Young Doctors, Wednesday-Friday 7.00-7.30pm
The Sullivans, Wednesday-Thursday 7.30-8.30pm

Either a listing is missing or more likely there was a test pattern during that time. Can’t see a racing preview going more than 15 mins.

Who produced Jazzercise and which station was it initially produced for?

The Young & the Restless on SAS10 not NWS9.

I’m not 100% sure on this because I know that a similar show called Jazz Fitness was filmed at NRTV’s Coffs Harbour studios. I think Jazzercise might have been a regional production too.

Yes, produced by NRTV and shown on the Network Ten from memory.
