Class Clowns

SYNOPSIS

Six comedians, one classroom, zero chance of learning. . .

Each week, a misfit crew of comedians return to the schoolyard in this all-new comedy competition series. Under the watchful eye of Principal Julia Morris, our class clowns are split into three houses and paired off to tackle wildly ridiculous assignments based on classic school subjects. Principal Morris marks their work with brutal honesty, handing out savage report cards and precious house points. Only one house will graduate top of the class and claim the coveted Class Clowns Shield.

A misfit crew of comedians head back to school in the all-new series Class Clowns, premiering Wednesday 30 September at 8.30pm on ABC TV, with all episodes available to stream on ABC iview.

Under the watchful eye of Principal Julia Morris, comedians Bron Lewis and Luke McGregor, Becky Lucas, Matt Okine, Nina Oyama and Dave Hughes, are divided into three houses, Redbacks, Cane Toads and Bin Chickens, to battle it out for house points and the coveted Class Clowns Cup.

From Biology and Drama to Mathematics, Geography, Gymnastics, Physics and more, every assignment offers the chance to earn praise and points. But impressing Principal Morris won’t come easy. As she reminds her students, house points are a privilege, not a right.

Packed with outrageous challenges, fierce competition and plenty of laughs, Class Clowns proves that even professional comedians will do almost anything for bragging rights and a trophy.
