Channel Nine On-Air Presentation: 2002-04

15 month delay from US premiere… the good old days when the networks could do this without consequence.

The old sponsor billboard slipped in after 9 went to the 7 colours for 7 days look.

STW probably hadn’t updated their locally produced Sponsor Billboards yet? The others likely would’ve been produced by the network in Sydney.

As far as I can tell, this Adelaide version of A Current Affair with Georgina McGuinness only ran for six weeks (August 19-September 27) for coverage of the local AFL teams in the 2002 finals.

One would imagine that the run may have been extended if the Crows and/or Port won the Grand Final but since neither team qualified for that match (the Lions beat the Magpies on 28/9/2002), it’s probably reasonable to presume that the national edition of ACA with Mike Munro returned to NWS on September 30.
